Nice, cosy little bar with very welcoming and friendly staff. I came here a few nights while staying in Chiang Rai and had a great night every time. The Lady running the bar speaks good English and is good for a conversation or a game of pool. Drinks are well priced and pool is free.
Well worth stopping in for a drink or three 😁

Stopped here initially because I saw a sign advertising food for 60 baht. Owner is super friendly and explained each dish I was interested in. Came here with 2 friends so we ordered 3 dishes and shared them. Food was excellent. Beer was also about the least expensive around the area. A big Leo was 85 baht. They were setting up for grill items on a stick when I left so I came back later in the evening. The skewers were 5 or 10 baht each. Definitely worth it and tasty. Can't recommend this place more highly.
Had a great night and 555 morning at Chicken Bar. The owners are lovely and kept us fed and our glasses full for many many hours.

We ordered 5 dishes, we received them an hour late, every dish 20 minutes apart so we didn’t eat together. We asked for “not spicy” and it was very spicy and they didn’t agree with us (so tried the food in front of us) => their excuse: “you didn’t say no chilies” so apparently not spicy wasn’t clear enough. They made us pay for the spicy dish. They forgot one of the order so after everyone was done, we canceled it. They raised the prices on the bill (compared to the menu). Very very bad service. I wouldn’t recommend it :(
I had bought myself some snacks at the market and was looking for somewhere where I could have a beer with my dinner rather than take it back to my hostel. The bar was happy to sell me a very nicely chilled beer and let me enjoy my food with it. A win win outcome.
