I came here instead of going to the Popeyes across the street based on the ratings alone. I'm glad I did. Chicken Shack has a MUCH better atmosphere as the employees actually seem to want your business. I would highly recommend this establishment over other choices. The chicken is made fresh to order. We had a large order and a bit of a wait time. No problem. That's the definition of "made to order". The manager added an order of onion rings, Cole slaw and two small drinks as an appreciation/comp. Moved here from Detroit area and was so happy to see a neighborhood staple in the new area for us. This is by far the most well run Chicken Shack that I have been to. The store is always sparkling clean. The crew always greets me at the door and seem genuinely happy to be employed here. The food is always delicious, that’s a given. Considering our old regular neighborhood chicken shack in Livonia had literal fist fights amongst the crew this one is like a temple lol. My one negative about this location. 1. Closes so early. I always enjoy coming into Chicken Shack. The folks there are always so welcoming and kind. I tend to shop and make purchases where the service is great because I don’t like supporting negative business practices. This is a great place to eat and feel great about investing in a local business. Staff is quite friendly, chicken is very good, but if you haven't done it, try the ribs!!! For a place that is known for their chicken, their ribs are falling off the bone really good. Just ordered from here. Friendliest staff! The place is also pristine. By far the cleanest kitchen I have ever seen and the nicest staff I have seen in a ver very long time. Pulled up to chicken shack for dinner tonight and it was winner, winner chicken dinner!! 🐔 I got the 8 piece wing (bbq style) and shrimp snack with those delicious potatoes. Everything was outstanding and the sauce on the wings was sweet and tangy. (So addictive). I will be repeating Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely the best chicken and the staff were so welcoming! I was truly surprised at just how good it was and I would highly recommend if you are in the mood for some fried chicken. They even delivered the food to us at the table! Wow! Not a huge amount of seating space but there's a nice table along the window which works just fine.
