We ordered to-go. We received 2 large tasty 32 oz containers of main dish items. Then only 1 small 16 oz container of white rice which didn’t even cover 1 of those containers of meat. We ordered potstickers (6 per order), there was 5 in the container. I thought it was a mistake regarding the rice, so I called them. They were very nice, but it turns out, nope, that’s all they give you. Doesn’t make sense for such a cheap item that they don’t give you enough for your meal, which unfortunately makes for incomplete dining experience. Food tasted pretty good. Owners need to rethink what they give you. If visiting, we won’t be back. Food: 3 Service: 1

I usually am pretty good at taking picture of the meals I order but this time once I got the almond chicken and pork fried rice I completely forgot and ate the entire dish. The almond chicken is the best I've ever had at this restaurant they fry up the chicken with the sauce poured on top. Amazing!!! The pork fried rice did have a bit to much soy sauce but with the almond chicken combined it balanced out! Would definitely recommend the Almond chicken!! Keep it up China in restaurant!!? The china inn is a lovely spot for the locals. never too crowded to where you can enjoy sitting down. Deborah is the sweetest waitress and i can see her hard work from afar. compliments to the chef. you get your dollars worth, thanks china inn🤍

The service was good , the food looked good but lacked any flavors. The almond chicken an sweet and sour pork had very little sauce. I tried rolling my pieces to get some on but ended up eating dry pieces. My hubbys chow mein was supposed to be medium spicy and he requested additional sauce which the waiter brought but still no flavor. The egg flour soup had an odd thick gel like consistency. Good soup, good service, its a solid thumbs up for me! 😁 I accidentally ordered from this location instead of the one I normally do and I am absolutely not upset. 😂 Decided to make a pit stop on the way home and I've tried a little bit of everything while sitting in my car. Everything tastes wonderful. Not sure if the really bad reviews are from lunch rush or a different shift of cooks but whoever is there on Wednesday night knows what they're doing.

Ordered for delivery on Door Dash Curry chicken was not anything like I've ever had. No broth. Very greasy, no flavor, and no veggies other than cabbage and green bell peppers. No flavor, not even spicy flavor. Daughter has the chicken low mein and it had zero flavor. Also, very oily/greasy. Not fresh or healthy by any means. She had to apply 4 packets of soy sauce for any kind of flavor. The iced tea tastes like water. We both because nauseous shortly after our meals. I ordered hot and sour soup, and beef with mushrooms, with the addition of mushrooms in the soup, I didn't find a single mushroom!!! Tasteless, and beef with mushrooms, as if the meat was not prepared, just boiled! Who prepared all this food, it deserves no more than minus 10 stars, is there a check on the cooks?! before it was delivered?! I didn't eat either one, it was thrown in the trash! Food: 1

Being from Hawai'i, I have tasted authentic Chinese food with all the delicious flavors. China Inn is the closest I've tasted so far. The restaurant is quaint and peaceful. The waitress there is very friendly, thoughtful and respectful. I also appreciate that they dont rush you off. The waitress still engages and doesnt ignore you when you're done ordering. We really like this place and we are thankful for the flavorful food. Complements to the Chef! They have great lunch specials! Food was great, my son loved it. Im from washington and watch an uber driver abuse the staff, then returned and called them after everything was over with, and the woman at the counter handled it with grace and was so apologetic that we had to listen to that happen, even gave us free soup for the inconvenience. I feel bad for the China Inn. Just terrible, in fact. Why, you might ask? Because... The Mongolian Beef The Mongolian Beef is so wonderful, so tremendously delicious, I have absolutely NO idea if they make anything else nearly as wonderful or even better, in comparison! Do I want to spice it up, asks the waitress? No While I enjoy spicy food, in this instance, the extra spice changes the flavor profile, so I recommend just let the cooks do their magic, no extra spice needed. And it's even worse for us customers! How do we go in to a restaurant and pretend we are there for anything other than the Mongolian Beef? We fake looking at the menu in the hopes they won't see our addiction and take advantage of us... But they know. Seriously, this is the Best Mongolian Beef in town, sadly, that's not saying much for Coeur d'Alene, but I would even challenge ANY restaurant in the Spokane area to beat this dish, it's fantastic. If any restaurant will take the challenge, put your restaurant in the Comments, and I, and any other readers, will try it out in the next 3 months, and I'll give you a fair tasting, one Mongolian Beef review a week, if you're game!
