If you want to remember Light Sparkles Studio, come to this restaurant first. All the guests adore the menu that offers wonderful Chinese cuisine at China Joy. To try perfectly cooked fried lobster, noodle soups and wonton soup is a really nice idea. According to the visitors' opinions, waiters offer tasty pancakes here. Delicious americano or good tea are what may make you come back to this place. Tasty meals at democratic prices are offered here. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

It's a decent Chinese takeout place. Food is good, and service is fair. There are some tables and chairs, so you can sit down and eat your food if there's any empty seat. Food is served in a takeout container (photos). Among many expensive eateries and restaurants in Bar Harbor, this is one of a few reasonable choices of eatery for sure. Closed on Sunday & Monday. I ordered the thick,flat noodles. They gave me the different type. The other one is the egg with fried rice, but there is no egg,only rice. I am very disappointed, because my family and I came this Chinese restaurant every time when we were in Bar Harbor, ME. We won’t be back again. General Tso’s chicken was sooooo amazing taste. Cantonese seafood fried noodle was great too. Taste wise, it was five stars. I am sure I will be back especially for general tso’s chicken. Their sauce was amazing.

I was a bit concerned when I read some of the reviews saying the food was not as good as I had hoped. But I found the food quite acceptable and tasty. It is true, that it's basically only takeout, however, you can eat at their tables. The owner said they simply have trouble keeping staff and therefore they cannot wait the tables. We were served in takeout containers with plastic utensils, which is just fine. There were not very many guests so we had a great environment for chatting. The place was clean, and prices very reasonable. That is hard to find in Bar Harbor! Your average Chinese restaurant which definitely hit the spot for my wife craving something different than your typical American restaurant or Irish pub in bar harbor. We ordered the lobster in ginger and scallion sauce with roast pork chow mein

Absolutely disgusting. Chicken lo mein tasted like seafood. Fried rice was so bland. I waited for this place to open all winter. I enjoy Chinese food. This is by far the worst i ever had. Our first stop in Bar Harbor as we were craving some quick warm food. We went on a Saturday evening and they were only open for takeout. So we placed an order and waited for about 20 minutes to pickup. For the most part, the food was okay. The egg and shrimp was very watery and bland, but the calamari and beef were quite flavorful. In general, the prices were pretty high for Chinese takeout, especially in comparison to the prices of fresh seafood restaurants in Bar Harbor. There's also only one parking spot available in the front, designated as a pick up parking spot. So as with most places in Bar Harbor, parking is super difficult to find.

Good Chinese food. The food quality is about what you would expect for a Chinese restaurant in the US. I recommend the cashew chicken. They added plenty of cashews! Also, ask for extra spice, not just spicy. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
