Food was great but they definitely do not know what's going on within the kitchen and front of house. They do not let you know about specials when you call to order and they had several customers waiting for food way longer then what we were told we would wait. Update to my previous review. We decided to give China Kitchen another try and we were impressed with our dinner. The General Tso chicken was hot and fresh, the chicken was flavorful and not full of filler. The chicken teriyaki and honey wings were also hot, fresh and flavorful. Never been there until today. We ordered general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef n broccoli takeout. The general tsos was the worst I've ever had, hardly any chicken in it and the sauce was not good. The sweet and sour chicken was too salty to eat. I must say this is the best takeout Chinese I ever had. We’ve been ordering takeout from China kitchen for many years. I don’t care how far I am. I will certainly drive to that location and pick up my food. I tried other take out that is closer to my home and it’s just not good at all. Great service and the food was plenty and delicious. Love you have the larger style egg rolls and the fried rice was really fried. Not boiled with yellow coloring like other places. Best Chinese food around, and excellent service. I love that they allow me the choice to leave onions or other ingredients that I don't care for out of my dishes. I've had a number of their dishes as I wanted to explore beyond my former basic go to's. In doing so, one of the girls there was always helpful in describing the contents of whatever dish I asked about. Moo Shu, shrimp rolls, wontons, tsaos all great along discovering my new favorite hot and spicy beef, shrimp. The food was bursting with flavor!! Good job, China kitchen.. even the shrimp was clean of the black vain in the back!!! People were packing this place! We always eat at this place but this time we paid the up charge for the white meat on two orders. We did not receive white meat. Also the order was missing a fried rice. I called and spoke with the manager and was told that I was wrong and white meat was given. I must have forgot it was the first time I ever had the white meat. Ordered online for 5:15. Got there about 10 min early. Happy to see that food is not left on counter. Mine wasn’t ready and at 5:14 out came my bag hot. Delicious. I’m addicted to egg foo young . Will be back. Very reasonable price for what you get. This is your typical American style of Chinese food. There's nothing authentic about it, but it still tastes pretty good. The staff were quite friendly but they were rude either. Just in between. Don't go here and expect to be blown away. Go with hunger in mind and just want Chinese food to feed the hunger, lol.
