I am here now and I am Chinese with family businesses in Chinese food and this is hands down the best Chinese food we’ve had abroad!!! Wow, what a find for a quick pit stop in Arusha. Excellent service from Kelvin too! Food is fresh, generous and most importantly, delicious. We had crispy beef, mixed vegetables and beef with onion/mushroom - faultless!! I am from NYC and this is definitely one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice and the wait staff were wonderful and accommodating. The owner is also very nice and humble, and really cares about his customers enjoying the experience. My partner and I loved it so much that we came back again the next night! Highly recommend! The highlight of the meal was getting to speak with the owner. He's an Arusha local and lives/works closely with his business. Plus, his story is fascinating! I recommend stopping in just to meet Reese. The Passion Fruit drink was delicious and I plan to go back just for that. I also had the garlic chicken with spring rolls. Sometimes chefs make food the same way all the time, but theirs was happy to accommodate my spice-averse food preferences. Give em' a try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had some of the best Chinese food here. I ordered the spicy chicken wings and the beef with mushrooms and egg fried rice. Top notch service by Asha and amazing food by the chef. I had dinner at Chinese Whispers yesterday evening. The restaurant is located in a building complex which seemed safe after dark - there is a security guard and a supermarket on the ground floor. We were welcomed by our lovely host Asha, who was a very attentive waitress during the entire evening. She recommended us dishes on the basis of our likes and dietary restrictions. There are multiple vegetarian options and also combos, for the case that you do not want a huge portion. I had a vegetarian dish consisting of vegetables and tofu in a bean sauce which was delicious. The best meal we had during our week-long trip here. Love the tofu in chili sauce and deep fried squid. Very friendly and accommodating owner and servers.
