I only go to the Shelton Chipotle if I have to. Theres to many young people who clearly show that they don't have any work ethic. Walking in there it seemed okay. As we ordered the kid slopped our food into our bowls. Not only that the line where the food was, was absolutely disgusting and hadn't been cleaned. We paid and went to go sit down. Almost every table was dirty. And the trash cans were beyond full. As we ate there I was observing the employees and they literally just stood there talking and not one of them initiated cleaning the restaurant. I was there for 45 mins in total and was disappointed in their work ethic. If I was their manager I would be livid in the laziness. It's clear that management doesnt care how their restaurant looks. I can’t believe I spent $15 here the service was terrible I asked the cashier to tell the guy who was making my bowl not a lot of rice she looked directly at me heard what I said look towards him and did not relay what I was saying they were out of majority of the items that should be at the serving station so the boy had to go to the station where they make Uber eats orders to complete my order. I have a entire bowl of rice a pinch of lettuce and a pinch of steak I also added a small drink when I got my cup to fill at the station of drinks there was nothing in the lemonade containers lazy is a understatement unorganized is a compliment. This isn’t the first time here and both times it’s the same outcome . Please hire experienced old people to attend to these young. Very displeased won’t be returning Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

THEY ARE ALWAYS DISGUSTING!!! Always dirty! I asked the young lady to wipe the table where I was sitting with my kids, and she did but left all other areas dirty, unsanitary and just filthy! Employee was extremely slow. Garbages we’re filled beyond the brim. Counters need to be cleaned.. Also the amount of salt they put on the meat is diabolical!!! Made order at 7:05 for pickup at 7:40, only for it not to be ready. Proceeded to wait another 40 mins for my food to be made. One of the employees that was working the pick up left right as soon as his shift ended and it took a whole ten minutes to get someone else to work on it. No "sorry for the wait" or anything. One of the absolute worse restaurant experiences I have ever had and I will never go back to this location and hopefully this review warns other people. Every single time I go there, forever literally the last 5 years, it’s always disgusting in the dining room, there are never any kids or knives or salsas, all of the workers have headphones and talk to each other not about work, there’s never any black beans or other meats available than chicken. Who’s running this circus ?? And why open across from pancheros ??? Whoever owns this chipotle, close up and move out any other location is better than here. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is the absolute worst Chipotle ever. Staff is unprofessional, not that you expect young kids to be super professional, but lack customer service skills. THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT OF FOOD and never make more! I mean ALWAYS!!! The place is always dirty. I love Chipotle, but I rather go to Pancheros across the street. Super clean and absolutely the best customer service. Whoever manages this place should go across the street and take some notes.

I ordered a burrito bowl with extra chicken, a burrito with extra chicken and a large queso dip and nachos. BUT what I received was a rice bowl with rice and lettuce and nothing else, a burrito with a few pieces of chicken and they completely forgot the large queso and chips. Real A team working here. This costs me $62. It's 9:27 so my husband and I don't even have dinner to eat. Price per person $30–50

I go to the Chipotle a lot and unfortunately this will be the last time. I've ordered online at this location a few times and have had issues with my order (missing sides or fronts doors locked). Typically I will opt to walk in and order takeout at this location because of this. But this visit made me never want to eat Chipotle again and I feel the need to share it. Walked in and young woman by the bathrooms seemed nice (despite me walking in an hour before close) so I will give a star for that. Thank you! Upon receiving my order I didn't have two of the sides I asked for. Gentleman at the counter seemed nice I enough, I took the loss, said thank you, and got in my car. Drove home and realized my bowl did not have guacamole or pico de gallo. Jumped on Chipotle chat with pepper and relayed the lack of all these ingredients and was offered a free guacamole for my next visit. I thought it was weird that I wasn't offered further compensation and the chat ended while asking for rating on how they did. Gave that a 1 out of 5 and decided it wasn't worth any further attention while trying to finish this meal. Then I realized the rice was undercooked and it seemed out of the portions I was given the extra protein and beans I had paid for/requested was lacking as well. I tried to jump on chat with pepper again and since I already filed a request apparently there is no further interaction necessary. I understand someone making mistakes or having a bad day but not putting forth effort to resolve the issue is honestly sad. On top of that it should not be normalized to avoid criticism. And as someone who orders food from here a lot and always tips it's disheartening. I would not recommend this location unless you are willing to have a mediocre experience. Thursday. 6:30pm. Parking lot had only two cars, so great, this will be quick and easy and tasty. Nope, wrong. Walk in and the place is a mess. Trash on the floor and the food area was a disaster with empty but dirty containers. There were about six employees standing around and chatting. That's right, not picking up the trash everywhere in the restaurant or making the things they were out of. The gal that was at the counter offered no greeting when I approached. My minimum is a "hi" but I'll even accept a "hey". Nope, didn't even get that. OK fine. I'll just order my food. Well....they were out of mostly everything and what was there on display was dirty and old. If you are out of veggies, then you take the old veggie container with dried, caked on veggies in it and replace it with a clean empty one. Or wait! What if you MADE MORE VEGGIES!!??? So I get over that and have her make my order with what they did have. The gal at the register was even worse in demeanor. I pay and go to the sit-down area to eat before I do my evening errands. Well, you're not going to believe this, I hardly could, but they were "out of forks". I was stunned. HOW CAN I EAT WHAT I JUST BOUGHT (a salad) without a fork???!!!! and why didn't you tell me that before I ordered?????!!!! If I knew that, I would have left. I was out for the night and oddly enough, didn't have cutlery in my purse as I didn't know I would need it. I paid and left and threw my $15 salad in the trash and went across the street for supper. I honestly, truly and literally do not understand how this business is still in business. Where's the manager? Where's the owner? I will NEVER return here.
