Decided on this location as it was the only one left in the Phoenix metroplex. Went here to reminisce of our times eating at Coco’s back in the 80s. One thing for certain, it is not the Coco’s of our youth any longer. The outside of the restaurant and parking lot looked decrepit, as though it was vacant. Inside the restaurant was large but only a total of 4-5 tables were occupied. The waitress was nice, but the manager was greatly lacking customer service and personality. Apparently he was also the cook. The food was lackluster for the price. The bill totaled more than what we paid at a trendier restaurant that offered gourmet burgers made of quality, healthy options including: 100% antibiotic & hormone-free black Angus Beef, Bison, Grass Fed, Impossible burger, Veggie burger and Turkey, Salmon and Ahi Tuna patties, homemade Salads, Sandwiches, Appetizers and Handcrafted Cocktails at our full bar. We got our filled of reminiscing today. We won’t ever return to this Coco’s again. Once was plenty.
Worked here in high school when I was a kid and honestly I'm so happy it's still open! I was sad to see the bar gone and decor changes but overall it hasn't changed too much, just used to feel warmer before the remodeling. Service was quick and very good, ordered the cinnamon roll French toast combo with eggs and sausage and I could seriously eat it every day! My husband got the biscuits and gravy combo with eggs, hash browns and sausage and loved it. This place will always be on my list for best go-to breakfast places. Two entrees and two drinks for $43 not bad and highly recommend!

Buttermilk Pancake Combo
Definitely a really good breakfast place. They were not busy at all at 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning.
When we walked in, we got seated right away and the service was fast.
They have a huge selection of breakfast and lunch items. When I ordered, the food was done really quick and it was cooked perfectly. The portion was a good size as well.

It's cocos, took my grandson for his birthday, 97 Ave and bell road. Very old building. It needs remodeling and mixing up the food and adding alcohol, it will do much better.

We’ve seen this place when we go to the post office across the street, it does not even look like it’s open. No one is at the front so we sat ourselves until the waitress came over and offered us water. Place was not even busy and after we ordered food was brought between 10 and 15 minutes.
I don’t recommend the food, we chose what it’s called country potatoes and she said those were seasoned and had diced onions in it but we hardly see any and some of those potatoes were really hard to chew and some of them were crunchy.
We ordered omelettes, they were OK, I chose the pancakes but they felt so dry and not fluffy as you can see on the pics shown. We paid $36.99 including tips but definitely not coming back.
*Update* I am getting upset stomach now and I think it was because of the maple syrup, it tasted funny.
We just stopped in for dessert. Almost $6 for a slice of pie. Wow. For how old and run down the building is, it’s surprising pretty clean. Almost felt like a time warp.
