Lovely little family run cafe/restaurant right on the lake. Food is local and fresh. The portion sizes are big and the flavor is great. Julia and the rest of her family are very friendly and welcoming and their little patio is shaded with a lovely breeze off the lake so even in the heat of the day it's cool and shady there. The prices are also very reasonable and cheap compared to the restaurants inside the hotels and hostels. They serve all meals and we enjoyed a great breakfast one day and lunch another. Julia was very kind and accommodating. She and her husband were happy to prepare us a beautiful breakfast with heaping mounds of fresh fruit and deliciously cooked pancakes/omelettes/nica breakfasts! Albeit rustic and simple, the spot is beautiful and comfortable. It was our best stop on the island and we highly recommend it to anyone passing through. A gem of a place, you will not be disappointed. Ps. The pancakes came with a scrumptious Calala honey!

Un lundi soir nous sommes arrives à 19h la place était vide mais nous avons reçu un excellent service. Nous avons choisis le poisson frit trois fois. Une énorme assiette nous a été apportées. We had the garlic chicken and jalapeño chicken, both of which were delicious. The place is small but the staff are very friendly and we catch a great sunset here. Found this hidden gem as my cousin loves fried fish...Did not disappoint! Great food at a reasonable cost. Had the fried fish and garlic chicken. Both were great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It’s Sunday today so most places are closed and we were very hungry but it was open here. The food was soo delicious, made fresh, the French fries are homemade and the rice had a smoky flavor so good. All the food is cooked old school, 2 blocks and some fire wood with a pan right over the fire. Can’t get better than that. The view is great, u have the lake right in front of u. Service was great. The waiter was very nice. At the moment they were out of beef so I got the pork, it was very tender. 10/10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped here on our ATV for some local lunch and weren’t disappointed. Great views and the staff were lovely and friendly. We ordered some beautiful fresh fish and chicken - cooked to perfection . Would recommend for anyone in the area!
