We randomly stopped by here during a long roadtrip. The woman behind the counter was so so so kind and friendly. The wish I had gotten her name. We received our food quickly and the place was very clean. So were the restrooms. This was not a typical Cookout. 👍🏼

So the burger and shake were really good. The only negative thing I would say is that the layout of the restaurant is poorly designed. Basically you open the door and there is a cashier and a line forming. Just a weird setup. I will definitely go back next time I'm out that way though as the meal was definitely good!

We enjoy cookout and stop whenever we’re south enough to find one. This looked like a new location. I love the sink available in the dining room. It makes it so easy to wash your hands before you eat without having to go to the bathroom. This should be a new standard in every fast food place. My only complaint is that we asked for mayonnaise and after we waited for awhile they came back and said they didn’t have any. Somehow I got mayonnaises on my food and so did my husband, but we can’t have a small side of it?

We ordered drive thru. The box was pretty sad and poorly made! Do better! After this I’m not sure if I’ll ever return! The burger was not made the way I asked at all. This is by far the worst cookout I’ve ever been to!

WOW!! These burgers are better than some $$$$ restaurants. I'm blown away by how good this really cheap food is. The onion rings were delicious and crunchy and holy moly the giant fries. The cashiers were so kind and friendly. This my new favorite fast food. You guys just bumped Five Guys out of "my" first place.

The food was good for the price although I feel like the quantity compared to what you used to get in normal takeout containers is less.
The place was clean, but the women’s restroom was out of toilet paper and when I let the lady at the counter know she just seemed to gloss over it. It was also smoky inside and outside, maybe something was being burnt?
Finally was a the service, they were busy with their double drive through and we were inside which wasn’t as busy. The had easily 10-12 people working in the kitchen, and the lady at the register was on her last nerve for the day. She was very short and even made me afraid to ask her for the condiments that we had requested when ordering.

Great food for the price! Customer Service was ok - cashier didn't make eye contact and basically tossed our food at us. But again - the food for the price was great. We got two whole meals for less than $15. Their cold slaw is delicious.

First time at a Cook Out (no locations where we live) and really liked it. I had a cheeseburger with hushpuppies, cheese bites, and Cheerwine. My kiddos were excited about the variety of milkshake options and variety of sides to choose from (including walking tacos!). We’ll be happy to return and already recommended to friends of ours who are driving through.
The staff were very nice, the dining area and restrooms were clean. 👍🏻

This was different for us. We actually had to seek out this Cookout. We had heard about them from a friend. We had passed the billboards and spoke about it, but never had the right moment to try them out. So we made it a mission to find one.
I will say that we were not disappointed. It was different in some ways, and typical in others. There was a line at the register where you order. There seemed to be just the one employee tasked with ordering. There was not a lot of room in the lobby area, so we were backed out the door. There was a pretty good crowd.
So we got some information on how they operate and what they liked from the folks who were behind us. Since the food is prepared as per your order, you tell them what you want on your food, rather than what you don't like most restaurants.
They had a deal for about $7, where as you get a main item like a burger, two hotdogs or such, that comes with two side orders (or doubled up on one side). The sides were not overly large, but fit the bill. It also came with a drink. Although we opted for a shake, which seemed to have an up charge, understandably. Two meals with the shake upgrade cost us less than one meal with just a (medium) drink (they don't have small anymore) and an extra burger at McDonalds quite recently. And McDonalds didn't taste anywhere near as good. Now this was not in Georgia and may not be a true comparison. But we took notice.
The shake Cookout made, was quite good. But as the folks behind us had warned us, you probably will need a spoon. I watched another man eating his shake with a folk! I could use a straw from the start, but you had to work at it. The spoon was much easier to start with.
The restaurant was surprisingly clean considering the crowd that just went through. By the time we were done eating, the place seemed almost empty. But then the next wave out the door arrived. This was an interesting experience. So we made way for the next wave.
The wife did find the cheese quesadilla to be a little too spicy for her tastes. I am a lot more tolerant to spicy food, and tried it. Yes it was pretty spicy. But I could have eaten it. The rest of the food was good. Probably not the best I ever had, but quite good. And of course, the shake was excellent.
All in all Cookout lived up to the hype we had. But not so in every area. But for the most part, we would and will stop in again. Unlike most fast food places, that are not fast food anymore. It was actually a really good meal at a reasonable price. And our food being fresh prepared for us, seemed to take less time than the fast food places anymore.

For the price and quality of food I gave 4 stars. The chili dog was great!!! Loved it & was actually scared to taste it but I took my chances. It tastes grilled and was just all around surprisingly good. The Cajun season on the fries were good too. I don’t know about the Cajun chicken wrap though and didn’t try it. I expected a grill cajun seasoned chicken like the fries but it was a piece of breaded chicken with a cajun sauce and a small piece of lettuce which is not what I wanted. I didn’t mind though since the chili dogs and fries filled me up anyways!
