We ordered online and picked up. Food was ready on time, hot, and excellent. Large portions to last two days. Love the Shiner Bock fish and chips. Update. I hate to ding this local restaurant but our second visit for a to-go order didn't go as well. We were shorted a salad. We called and spoke to the manager who apologized and said they would send us a coupon. We had a last minute party of 27…the staff was so patient and helpful. Our waitress was amazing…remembered each person’s order and their drinks! Beatrix is the best server at this place. She's super attentive and friendly. I definitely want her as my server when we come back. I came with my Mom and my husband and we really enjoyed it. Cotton Patch Greenville - Tasty as Always Out party of five had a good lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon. Being right on the freeway, there were plenty of customers already in the restaurant. We were seated quickly and served by a friendly wait staff. The food came out piping hot and very tasty. The only negative was that there were no hush puppies available for our fried catfish dinner. Our dinners came out with extra fries and no hush puppies. When we asked the waiter, he said they were out of hush puppies, so they decided to give us a double-order of fries. It would have been nice to give us the option of a different side or maybe a dessert. Have been waiting for the Chicken Fried Pork to return, since it is a seasonal offering. Well worth the wait, delicious meal. Our server Layla was exceptional, good to see customer service at its best. Made our visit a great experience. She needs a raise! First, it took forever to get our food , there was a lady who came in after us, and by the time we God our food she was done eating . Them another couple came in way after us, and they got their food the same time we did . Once we got our food, we ordered the Jumbo shrimp platters ,as you can see, the shrimp was NOT JUMBO and it was so tough I couldn't eat it . Very disappointed. Our waiter Kennedy was great ! Our server was amazing. She was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was super hot and fresh and the portions were large. The mashed potato’s were dry and nothing to rave about, but the broccoli cheese casserole was decent. The rolls, and fried mushrooms were delicious and the brisket queso was just average.
