The food was incredible! It is pretty expensive but the food is delicious. We had to wait a little while for our food since it was PACKED - our waitress was incredible the atmosphere is nice! Overall I enjoyed it :)

After hearing great things about this place I was really excited to try their food. We started with the tuna nachos recommended by our server 😋 they were delicious, I had the jumbo shrimp, unfortunately the breading was undercooked. And the shrimp seemed to be overcooked. The flavor was ok though. My boyfriend got the seared tuna off the dinner menu, which was very flavorful. Crabbys has always been amazing and is my favorite restaurant to spoil myself at. A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with alpha gal which is an allergy to all red meat, dairy, and red algae. I honestly thought I'd not be able to eat here but I called to see if they would accommodate and they DID! they did NOT disappoint either! They pan seared my salmon and cooked the asparagus and roasted veggies separate from the other foods and did not lack one ounce of flavor! I cried! I am a foodie and this diagnosis has been rough enough having to learn how to cook for myself but being able to go eat at such a fun and inviting place, have someone cook for you and it be safe to eat makes for. We were so disappointed with our Valentine's Day Dinner at Crabby's. We made our reservation. We had to go Monday because they were booked up. We were the first people to walk in. The person at the front door couldn't find our reservation but didn't give it much thought. We were pushed off. Than we got to walk by all the beautifully set tables. We were put in a dark back corner with no candles lit, no table cloth. Our table was tilted. No settings. We were tossed some silver. After we had been in our dark corner ordering and eating our appetizer. We get a phone call asking if we were coming. We had so looked forward to this dinner. We hadn't been there in years and won't go back for years, if ever. We spent $267. To eat in a dark uncovered table while others sat at beautiful dinner tables. The only reason I am giving a three star rating is our waiter was great. I thought the food was just so so taking into consideration it may have been the lack of atmosphere and were we sat to eat such an expensive dinner. We should have ate at the bar. When one is prepared to spend $100+ at a restaurant in Joplin MO, one might expect and overall great experience. Unfortunately, Crabby’s was off their game tonight. The staff was not very attentive. Our food seemed quite slow getting to our table. Turned out they brought our food to the guests next to us. Not sure if this caused my fish to be overcooked, but unfortunately it was. The dinner salad was unremarkable and the bread was cold. Would I eat there again, probably not. Would I recommend Crabby’s to a friend? Cautiously. First and foremost our waiter must have been having a terrible day because he was absolutely awful. When we arrived there were 3 tables there and he acted like he had 20. Then the food. For what this cost it was below what I would expect. One plate came out cold. Others were not well seasoned. Lobster tail was nearly impossible to get out of the shell.
