Enjoyed our breakfast. Was disappointed with breakfast sausage. It did not taste like regular breakfast sausage and will not order that again or the biscuits and gravy that have the same flavor. The rest of the food was good. Will try something new next time. Like the atmosphere and the shopping. Purchase my church dresses here. They are great quality and they last. Unique jewelry, kids clothes and gift. It is a must visit just to see what new things they have in gift shop. Service was absolutely trash. Our server was horrible. Every other server was running to their tables and actually checking on them. Ours took five minutes just to bring back butter for the biscuits which were late to the tables. I only had one cup of coffee as I couldn't get a refill. The gravy for the biscuits was bad. Burnt tasting with other funky flavors? Those biscuits were perfect though. The wife's food was ok but nothing special. I now know why ihop was packed and had a waiting list while the bottom of the barrel had no wait. Not coming back here. I can forgive the service and give a second chance but the food along with it was the last straw. Bottom line I won't be back. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I haven't been here in a long while. Good was different yet better. Even busy, we were seated quicker than expected. Not fully staffed, but they worked their butt off to be quick and courteous. We arrived at this Cracker Barrel on a miserably cold evening and were extremely happy to see a nice warm fire in their oversized fireplace. We even go to sit close enough to soak in some warmth. One of the wait staff was nice enough to get our drink order started, taking up the slack for her coworker who was busy with another group across the room. When our designated waiter arrived, he was professional and efficient. Our food came out surprisingly fast and it looked very appetizing. Unfortunately it was not up to the same level of pleasing experience as the rest of our dinner. My wife's chicken tinders were dry and the gravy (or sauce) in my chicken pot pie had the slimy texture you get sometimes when thickening with cornstarch. Not horrible, but bad enough to keep me from ever ordering it again. So sit by the fire and enjoy the friendly fast service and cozy warm atmosphere...just don't order the chicken pot pie. My husband and I went there for lunch. We both got the chicken fried steak meals and sweet tea. Our waitress, Kathryn, was so sweet and courteous. She was great. The food was delicious. We also got some of the $5 to go meals for our kids. I found a Dolly shirt that I couldn’t live without in the gift shop as well. We were with a party of 20 or so, our table was 12 and our server was amazing, truly he kept his cool under a lot or pressure. We were in town for a funeral. Also my blood sugar levels plunged and my wire quietly ask if they could get me something, and a minute later I had juice, biscuit and jelly, all without drawing attention to me. The experience was great in the realm of ordering food & good tasting food comin to your table.. however the setting at which said table is locacted has some very culturally insensitive decor. We had a wonderful breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning 8/20. Our waitress was mrs Abigail. She was very attentive and kind. I mentioned that it was my birthday and at the end of our meal she brought me a cake with a candle. So incredibly sweet of her. She had no idea how much I needed that this morning. I can’t remember that last time I blew out a candle on my birthday or have had a cake that was not made by me. Being a busy mom and running around making sure everyone else is taken care of can be a little stressful. This little gesture that Mrs Abigail did has brought so much joy to my heart this morning ❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My daughter works at Cracker Barrel as a server, and they are held to high standards. She loves her job and the patrons. We ate there last night, and she ordered for me. It was delicious!
