I gave a three because of the lack of seasoning on my entire meal (fish and fries). Also the two filets that came with it were rather small. Also, the fries had no seasoning and were rather limp. They should have been cooked longer and throw some seasoning on them. The okra could stand a little seasoning as well. The place has its positives, but the negatives were just too many. Between the three of us we had the following 1- 2 piece fried catfish, home cut fries, and fried okra 2- half smoked chicken, home cut fries 3- large pig salad We shared an order of smoked wings as an appetizer. The fries were limp and had zero seasoning on them. The catfish was nice and crisp, but it also had no seasoning. The smoked wings were great! They were juicy and the bones pulled right out. The half smoked chicken was great as well, same as the wings. The pig salad was great as always. Their house made ranch dressing is the bomb.💣 The toast was great as well. I don’t recall the server’s name, but she is always great! The restaurant needs a pick me up inside. Very quiet and blah. Put some good music on or something. The food came out pretty quickly. Stopped along our trip to Orange Beach from Wisconsin; delicious southern soul food with a cool atmosphere - felt like we were at a family BBQ. Tish was able to accommodate all 6 of us and provided excellent service! Was pleasantly surprised at the price for the amount of food we got! Very good service she kept the drinks full and made sure everything was good the. Whole time. The food made it to our table hot and delicious, the place was clean bathrooms were cleaning everyone was very friendly. We did have water drip on us from the A/C duct, that's my only complaint. Do yourself a favor and bypass all the chain restaurants and go straight here! The ribs and Brisket are amazing! Literally fall off the bone. The service is prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable of their menu. If you have room for dessert the blueberry cheesecake is just enough to make you wish you had wore bigger pants. 2nd time visit to Crossroads Ribshack and it just gets better and better! Loaded fries for our table today - both with pulled pork, one choosing crinkle fries and ordered as it’s listed on the menu with shredded cheese, and the other choosing spicy/seasoned fries and substituting nacho cheese instead of shredded. They were both amazing! My personal choice was the spicy fries & nacho cheese! The BBQ meat was as perfect - not greasy and with great flavor! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back! Absolutely incredible! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious!! We stopped by for lunch on day 4 of a 5 day cross country move with our 2 pups and at first we’re sad it didn’t look like their was a patio we could sit at, but the staff heard us lamenting about it and showed us the covered and enclosed porch and let us let the doggos off leash during our meal. The food was so affordable we worried maybe it wasn’t good…but WOW the food was amazing and quick-served! 10/10 recommend stopping here!!! Greeted and seated fast. Waitress waited on fast. The food was good but kinda seemed like it was leftover from the noon rush. Fried green tomatoes didn’t have a lot of flavor and breading fell off before I got a chance to try it. Ribs fell apart. Brisket was good but seemed to have been cooked a day or two before.
