Been grocery shopping here for many years. Have gotten to know the associates and they are always helpful. I shop here also because of the convenient location, however I do appreciate how hard the staff works. Most items are stocked well. I’ve never really had a problem finding what I need. I hope management appreciates their associates because I believe they do a fantastic job and I’m grateful.
I would have never thought I would write a bad review of my favorite deli. But November 6th around 430 pm I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner with 2 sides. I usually really love and enjoy cubs, deli fried chicken. Not today the chicken was dry, overcooked, old and flavorless. I was tempted to return to the store to return my meal. But I am a type 1 diabetic and I am on an insulin pump, so once I program my pump to give me insulin, I have to eat or chance beig hospitalized. That's the only reason why I didn't take this meal back to Cub Deli. I am very disappointed in the quality of the chicken at Cub. This was my go to.
Worst Cub - just avoid. They have no shopping baskets anywhere which is just strange. The employees are rude and always up front talking. They also never have the sale items and never restock them. They should not be out of ground beef by Tuesday every week.
There’s a lady on Thursday night doing cashiering on 10/26/2023 when I was shopping that night and was rude and wore security’s uniform with a cap on or something. Didn’t welcome me or said thank you and calling me like am her pet or something when I was checking out.
I have shopped at this Cub location for approximately 10 years. It's always clean, well-stocked (given that some items are out due to COVID), and well-organized. The produce is relatively fresh, though sometimes I have found some of the produce is a bit "past its peak".
The store itself is old and "dated" - they really didn't do much for the looks of the interior when Rainbow pulled out. But it is well-laid out in floor plan, and I get it that this is not an upscale Byerlys...
It is rarely crowded in this Cub; This concerns me - this location was an old "Rainbow Foods" location, and has super stiff competition within .5 miles of the location - Byerly's, Aldi, Hyvee, Sams Club, Super Walmart with groceries, and now soon a new type of Amazon Foods location. To say nothing about the "baby Cub" a few miles South of here, and the other large Cub on Cliff Rd. in Eagan. How much more competition can this large store survive? I don't know.
But, it is faithfully stocked, and presses on for the community. Workers at this Cub are polite and I appreciate the self-checkouts for speedy in and out, and so I give Cub a 4-star, though I worry it will soon possibly close due to the stiff competition. Time will tell!
Really gone downhill in the last couple of years. Awful cratered parking lot, janky carts, terribly understaffed. There’s never enough checkouts open, including at least one time where there were zero cashiers. The cashiers that do work there seem to have no management and can take a simple transaction and make it interminable. The bathrooms are a biohazard as well. What a slide down.
Great experience. Cashier led me right to checkout instead of waiting and informed me of the free frying pan promotion. A shout out to a good employee named Sue.
It's 2023. If you're letting the bigots at Salvation Army beg for donations at your store, you're no better than they are. Lots of options in Eagan besides here.
Was here on 9/11 (yesterday). Every single lettuce had the sell by date of 8/30 or 9/1. I have a video but it won’t let me upload, can only add photos.
Nice clean store in a convenient location within Town Centre. My family and I call it "Medium Cub" since there are 3 Cubs in Eagan. This one is my favorite because they have everything you need without being obnoxiously large like the one off Cliff.
