Enjoyed a cuban sandwich,puerco asado and a orange mango lemonade. All the food was very tasty and left us feeling refreshed( quality ingredients, not too salty/fatty) staff were very friendly and made nice recommendations. Also enjoyed the little games at the table! Although it was plenty for my appetite, I would say the cuban sandwich might be on the small side for a big eater, but the asado plate was very filling. Giving 4 stars to be generous because I love a good cuban. They delivered on that. I just don't agree with the prices and portions. Black beans and rice is very cheap to make. But they charge 6+ dollars for a small cup of it. Cuban was like 16 bucks and was kinda small for the price. Coleslaw was different but i liked it. But it was in a really small cup. Could've givin more of that also. Cuban sandwich is on point though. Also got a Pina colada. Delicious but like i said it's a lil pricey. Florida Native here. First time at this place and I'm so glad we went! I've never tried Cuban food before and the owner was very accommodating and recommended our dishes. The meats were perfect, my favorite is their beef. The Cuban sandwich was great too. I ordered a mojito as well and it was crafted perfectly. This was also very affordable. Superb food! Every dish is seasoned to perfection. Even the fresh avocado was finished with the right balance of salt and acid! The cocktails were delicious. The blackberry lavender mojito was a standout with our group. If wine is your thing, they also have an outstanding line up of local and imported bottles. The service is casual and full of warmth. Authentic flavors, very far from home. Great Cuban Coffee. Angela was amazing serving our party. Never thought I would have tostones in Grants Pass and not make them myself. The "Completa" was great with the 3 meats on a bed of rice and beans. Similar to Puerto Rican food. Ladies and gentlemen, Oregon finally has a food destination and that place is Cultured Palate in Grants Pass. We stopped in just because we wanted to try something different and discovered Cuban food. The flavors that we got in the food were amazing! It was the first time my wife and I have tried Cuban food and we will definitely be going back. Let's start with the coffee. It is sweet but not too sweet and makes a great accompaniment to the food. I had a Cubano sandwich with was fantastic. The marinade that was on the pork was delicious and just made me want more. I believe the best part is that it has a great taste of lime and other citrus flavors. So the taste is lite and refreshing, not thick like tomato based BBQ sauces. The bowl my wife had was puerco asada. It is a bowl of brown rice, black beans with the citrus pork on top. When they say to add the avocado, do yourself a favor and do it. The dish is wonderful on its own, but with the avocado it goes to the next level. I can not wait to go back and we will be taking more people with us.
