Daingerfield Donuts is a perfect place to get your donut fix especially when camping at the state park right there. The blueberry cake donut was great and very light. Not a whole lot of variety here but if you are looking for some classic donuts, this is the place.

I go to this place pretty often for breakfast since it's near me job and every morning when I come to the lady up front, she always has a good attitude and is always going at the quickest (while being safe) pace to make sure every can get out as fast as possible. The donuts at this place are always good the only thing is sometimes the jellyfilled have too much dough for the filling. Other then that great place. About the only thing I liked about Dangerfield donuts, was the sugar. Service was lousy at best. We first got coffee, which must have been made very early. Coffee had a bitter and old taste. We left it sitting by the coffee pot, but was charged for it any way. Even after telling the lady that it was unsuitable for consumption. The pastry was passable, but barely. This was still relatively early in the morning, around 10.30. I do give credit for cleanliness. The place was spotless. I don't like to be critical, but is it totally out of fashion to greet customers, and at least try to smile? Has thank you passed from our language? Perhaps I am getting to old.

Love this place. There were other people working inside and they made the best donuts. Now they still have good donuts, just not like the husband and wife whom used to work there. Plus the guy who works there now always calls me 'baby'. And I hear him say it to EVERY WOMAN.. I absolutely HATE that! Have respect, I am not your baby !!!!!! Someone needs to put him straight !

Great location, great products, but I was expecting to get 1 each of an assortment of donuts. Instead, they gave me 6 choices, 2 each. I guess I should have stated that I wanted 1 each of the 12 available. Not one jelly or cream filled in the whole dozen!
