This seems to be a go-to spot for tourists seeking a meal. During our family trip, our guide recommended this place for lunch, boasting about its unique local tribe cuisine. However, it turned out to be somewhat overhyped. The restaurant is adorned with a local tribe ambiance, featuring art and souvenir stores. The food, while average and a bit bland for my taste, had highlights like tender chicken, flavorful smoked fish with chili, and a must-try fried fish with salt and pepper. The abundance of locally farmed vegetables was a pleasant surprise. The fried tofu and filled sausage are worth sampling. The bamboo rice, though tasteless, offers a unique experience in opening it. The set menu arrives promptly, and we consumed a substantial serving for four of us, with a minimum spend of $350NT per person.

It’s a set menu and I think at 350NT per person.
Food is plenty intact too much and we could see at many tables unfinished food.
Food is generally good.
There’s also a workshop for those who want to learn knitting the traditional way.
An interesting aboriginal restaurant showcasing also some traditional handicraft.

Really great experience/food. The food is ordered via a few set menu options. They all looked worth the price in my opinion. Everything tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed the live musical performance. There were some well behaved pets roaming around (cat and dogs)

A spacious restaurant for decent and colourfully garnished food, with an affiliated cafe, souvenir shops, and art galleries next to it. May be a very popular choice when you are looking for authentically flavoured aboriginal dishes near Taroko Gorge (there are not many alternatives around anyway).

A beautifully set restaurant, made almost entirely out of wood. With lots of locally made ornaments that are available for purchase.
It serves 3 different types of set meals ranging in price from TWD $350 to $500 per person.
The food is excellent. There's some good fun to be had with the bamboo rice. If you're visiting the gorge or anything else nearby this is the best place to stop.
(The toilets aren't great though)
Great restaurant with many traditional meals to try in great atmosphere. Really cool to order rice in bamboo,I have never tried elsewhere before.

An interesting indegenous restaurant made of wooden logs provides a unique dining experience. The food are tasty and reasonably priced as well, ranging from 300-500 per pax for a 10-12 dish set course.
Overall a good place for early lunch.
