This place is proof that great restaurants can operate away from the big cities. And it's also quite an asset. A very pleasant place. Nice, unobtrusive service. No artificial pomp and artificial politeness. Nice and professional. The place is elegant but not overwhelming. Food very tasty. I had the pleasure of experiencing the tasting menu. Very interesting, varied, tasty. Very interestingly inspired by local cuisine, which is a very interesting experience for the guest. Congratulations to the owners as well as the Chef, cooks and waiters 👏

Well…. Not sure how Danilo got their Michelin star! We had their 3 course and 4 course meal. Sorry….I didn’t think they worth the 1 Michelin star. Let talk about the dishes. We got some kind of little starter eg cheese lollipops and breads. Well…the cheese lollipops was not so fresh because they were not crispy anymore when we ate and the bread was quite cold. Then we had the parsley risotto with shrimp…wow the chef must have lost his taste buds. The shrimps just far too much salt just doesn’t taste anything but salt. The risotto was too str with shrimp broth. Everything was over powered. Come on… you wasted the ingredients in my opinion. Then we had the duck breast and I think this was one of the worst dish with the worst combination ever! Celery root mesh just doesn’t go well with duck and some funny brown duck sauce, and the plum chutney. The worst was mesh celery root very powdery texture feel like eating glue, the sauce wow…speechless what is that??? The chutney was the best part. The sea bass was great because this was the only dish my daughter ate. The green mesh was good but not sure the vegetables (Pok Choi). Tiramisu was the best dish of the day! And this was the only dish I would happily pay for! The lunch was the worst Michelin restaurant we have been so far! My personal opinion for the chef. Trying too much not necessarily a good thing unless you are sure, over complicated dishes confused people. Good ingredients should be able to speak for itself! I would be more than happy to pay if the foods were good! But I wasn’t a happy customer! My honest opinion! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Great experience! We went for a 5 course meal and weren't disappointed. Service was superb and ambient is really nice. The dish that stood out were tortellini stuffed with Kranjska sausage and duck breast with celery and potato puree. Will be coming back.
Amazing food and service! Every course was incredible and loved trying some traditional Slovenian food with a modern twist. If you have the chance to go, definitely do it! Great wine pairings too Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We were on the ‘teden restavracij’ event and we were disappointed. That was our second time in this restaurant and the food was not good and it was low quality. You would not expect from Michelin recommendations restaurant. The soup was descent but risotto I got was not cooked and without any taste. Roast beef was not even roast beef and it was gummy, we could not eat. At the beginning the wife of the owner was so annoyed with us coming at the end of the event and not really friendly at all and she reluctantly gave us empty table that had to be cleaned. We think she was overwhelmed and tired of people coming for restaurant week, but we cannot help with that. Rather do not participate in such an event then give so bad service Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Very tasty and a nice ambient with professional waiters 😊 thumbs up!
Very good lunch and service this week on Wednesday! The shrimp risotto was excellent, and the choice of wines by glass is interesting but suffers from the lack of natural wines.
We truly enjoyed it. Great service and exceptional food! Try 6 course menu. It's great! Perfectly harmony between traditional taste and modern cuisine.
