I absolutely adored this place. The service was out of this world. The bartender even shook the ketchup before he gave it to us. I have no pictures of food on this first visit because we ate it all and it was fantastic. The cajun fries tasted like real potatoes and the Irish (reuben) egg rolls were out of this world. For fried bar food there was no grease and it really tasted homemade. We will be back. I was also pleasantly surprised to see gluten free buns on the menu! Casual low frills cool bar with fantastic food options. Great bands on Saturday nights and karaoke on Friday nights. Also, a good Black Hawks bar!

Great dive bar style live music venue. Food is okay. Service is harried, but kind and diligent. Reasonable prices on drinks and food. Go for the music though.

Stopped in here for lunch and discovered some deliciousness being fried up in their kitchen! Ordered the brisket Sammy with onion rings. First shared the Irish egg rolls which are very good - basically a Rueben stuffed into a fried to perfection egg roll, and a side of Thousand Island dipping sauce (yum).But the real star of their deep fryer was their hand made onion rings! We were told the owners wife is responsible working her magic in the kitchen. Quite possibly the best onion rings I have ever had. Light, airy, crispy, and sweet! Dipped them in a side of delicious BBQ sauce and all was right with the world! Their sandwich and burgers also did not disappoint. Service is good and friendly. Will be back to sample some more of that deep frying magic! Specifically going to try their Friday fish fry - with a side of onion rings of course!!
