I loved dining at DaPrata! Each dish was the perfect size and very tasty. My peach ginger soda was subtle in flavor and tasted a bit watered down, but still good. I highly recommend the scallops, octopus salad, and garlic shrimp. The quality of all the seafood was fresh. The scallops were incredibly delicious, very tender, and probably the best I’ve had in my life. The flavors of the octopus and tomatoes paired very well together. I found a vein in my shrimp, but otherwise, I loved the sauce on the garlic shrimp. The coquettes were good, but not my favorite in comparison to the other plates I ordered. Very tasty food and very friendly staff. We tried several dishes. The shrimp, cod cake and the pork cheek in red wine were really amazing. A bit tight in space, and slightly uncomfortable chairs (doesn’t really matter though). Unreasonably pricy, I think fair price for each food is 8-10 euros, but they charge 40% more. Wow! We loved this place so much that 2 out of the 3 days we stayed in Lisbon we had our lunch there. Each dish was so delicious, we tried out quite a few, but I can confidently say that the Pica-Pau (diced beef in traditional sauce) was our absolute favourite! Meat was medium rare, very tender and cooked in such a heavenly sauce. Staff were super nice, very attentive and presented the food carefully in detail. Really busy tapas restaurant. Chances are that there will be line to enter the restaurant. Their policy is that every person should order at least to items from menu (the recommendation is that everyone order something different). The staff is very attentive and fluently in various languages. A little bit expensive but tasty food and good cocktails. The octopus on the risotto was chewy but everything else was great. Had an excellent lunch here. The Swordfish and Tuna Ceviche in particular was a highlight. We also tried the Octopus Risotto, Sardine Tempura and Fried Chicken, all of which were really well made as well. Portion sizes are for sharing but didn't feel small, and the prices reflect the quality. There is a minimum order of 2 dishes per person but the staff explained everything really well. After waiting in the queue for 30 minutes at 9pm on Saturday evening, I think we ordered the wrong food. The restaurant has a weird policy that you must order two dishes per person. Actually three between two would have worked for us. We ordered both croquettes, game and goat, both of which were okay, but nothing like the magical taste explosion we experienced elsewhere. A cod and bread and olive oil thing with an egg yolk that should have been incredible but was not. It was cod light and bread heavy. We could not finish it. The waiter warned us that it had a “strong” taste. It didn’t, but now we understand “strong” meant that we shouldn’t ordered it. Useful tip for next time. Seems like we ordered an unbalanced too much carbs selection. The octopus risotto did taste great though. One out of four? Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The service was amazing, we were welcomed by the door by friendly gentleman and he explained the concept of the restaurant very clearly and nicely. Inside was very cozy decorated and our table and seats were super comfortable. They explained us the menu and even gave us some good recommendations. We didn’t have to wait long time for our food and drinks so service was really fast. It felt super personal and attentive plus the food was amazing, would definitely come back to try more of the menu! Easily the best tapas meal I've ever had. The whole experience was excellent.....had to wait a few minutes outside to be seated but not long at all. The food was delicious and our waiter explained each dish we picked in detail, you can tell they genuinely love the food they serve. We had 5 dishes and a glass of wine which came to 55 euros. The pig cheek , cheese board and sausage which is finished at your table with fire where the highlights.
