I have been going to Darto's since they opened in 84. I was around 5. I love 20 minutes north now, but still make the trip for either sit down or take out!! The Breakfast sandwich are the best on the go and sitting down the staff are great. Food great!! If you haven't tried it or been in a while, well worth the trip and time. Haven't been here in about 8 years and thought I would try it again. Big mistake! Wife and I ordered 2 omelets. See pics for reference. Wife's omelet was floating in some sort of liquid. Homefries seem to be boiled and then submerged in oil or grease. Wife asked for well done home fries and they definitely weren't well done. No crispiness whatsoever. Rye toast was decent. Coffee was not good. Can't complain about the price- 2 omelets and 2 coffees for $17. Last time coming to Darto's. I have no idea how this place gets 4.6 on here.

Definitely one of the best hole in the wall breakfast places I’ve been to in a while. Prices are low and portions are really big. The hard roll sandwich was incredibly soft and definitely not too much bread. Highly recommend! They usually get my order right, that is why the food got three stars or else it would have been five stars. I seen the lady write over hard on the paper. For the last two days my eggs have been runny and today they forgot the cheese. Very disappointed with my order. I will be taking the sandwiches back tomorrow. I understand you were very busy this morning but any other morning you are busy you still got my order right. I'm truly disappointed about my order. I have a deadly allergy to penicillin in case they got a bad patch of eggs. I'm truly sad because I had nothing to do on that side of town, I took a trip to that side of town just for the breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast at Darto’s was very busy with a neighborhood crowd. Seemed like it was going to be too busy. However Dartos exceeded my expectation's!!! Omelette was very tasty. Mushrooms were gently precooked so the big pieces were welcomed in my mouth! Classic breakfast done well. Solid omelettes and tasty thinly sliced home fries. I add onion, tomatoes, and hot banana peppers to my potatoes. The only disappointment is their coffee. It's like drinking dirty water...

I’ve written a review on this place in the past but I felt the need to send another one. Every time I come here it is absolutely consistent and the food is just delicious. This is my favorite breakfast restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. Anytime I come back to Bethlehem I make sure to visit it. The employees are always so nice and friendly food is served hot and quick and always fresh. You will not beat these prices for a breakfast meal in the valley so anytime you’re in the area especially with Christmas season coming up be sure to visit Dartos Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10

Service has historically been friendly. Some plates were excessively oily until recently, when they really stepped up their game. Athough a minus is their lack of pork alternatives and inability to substitute items, it is difficult if not impossible to beat their prices.
