This place is nice. We were greeted right away. Our server was super nice. Great menu. Food presentation was awesome and the food was delicious. Being Austrian kinda picky when it comes to German foods. We had the weiner schnitzel. Was shocked how good it was. And so glad they used veal. I liked they use paprika in the breading. The crab balls were so good.
Just be mindful of the parking lot. Half is permit the other half is meter. Luckily someone left some time and we had change.
We are definitely coming back!

Weinerschnitzel
This place is delicious! My mom is from Augsburg, Germany, but has lived in America for 50 years. She has never found a German restaurant that has truly been great... until now! I'm so happy to have found this place! The food is so tasty, and the beer selection is good. The server was super helpful in both food and beer selections. We drove from PA to come here and will definitely be doing it many more times to come here.

Jagerschnitzel
My daughter and I had dinner last Tuesday for taco Tuesday! Fried avocado in mahi tacos were delicious and my daughter got the beer-ia tacos, and said they were the best she’s ever had! Riley was our server/bartender, and made me a couple fantastic margaritas! She was on the ball, and an absolutely sweetheart! She has such an a adorable personality!

Giant Pretzel with Beer Cheese
Das Bierhalle has quickly become my favorite place to take my family and friends when they visit. Nestled in beautiful downtown Bel Air in a truly gorgeous building, Das provides it all. The servers and bartenders are all fast, welcoming, and great to talk to. The beer selection is out of this world for craft beer drinkers, but the $6 32 ounce crushes in dozens of flavors reign supreme. The German cuisine is on point, and I like the German twist to American dishes they do. Just an absolutely awesome place to eat but even better place to hang out.

What a great night at Das! Busy due to the holiday, but a packed restaurant didn’t stop the kitchen or staff from delivering a great experience! Kari and Adrian were so fun and on their game, and our food was delightful! Can’t beat the size of these pretzels!

Crab Pretzel
We emailed them that we were going to have a party of 16. There was a slight miscommunication about the location. But they made the room to accommodate us. Our server was Carrie and she was wonderful. She handled the entire party herself. Everything came out exactly as we ordered it. The food was very good and the $6 crushes were good as well. Several in our party are German and ordered the schnitzel and said it was pretty close to being as good as in Germany. Overall a great time

Fun place and GREAT service. Drinks were good. Prickly pear drink tasted better after we added sprite to it. Chicken piazza was ok. Reuben was good. Meatloaf was too salty. Creamed spinach was good as was the sauerkraut. Beef goulash soup was very good. Needed salt tho. Crab pretzel was the best item of the night.

Food was amazing and always is! Ive also been to brunch which was delicious too! Both times had great service! Crushes are delicious and there are so many flavors to choose from! The wait can get a little long especially on the weekends but that’s to be expected. Can’t wait to plan another trip back!
