I can't even begin to describe how flat out amazing their cupcakes are; have literally never had a bad cupcake flavor from Dave's! This is the first cake I ordered from them, for a friend's birthday, and LOOK AT THAT DETAILING! And SO tasty, it was gone in record time amongst the guests. Makes me want to think of all kinds of other cakes to order! Could not recommend Dave's Cakes more! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time ordering and enjoying Dave's Cakes. We had our twins' 5th birthday party and requested two decorated cakes and cupcakes. The cakes were absolutely adorable (kids loved them) and everything tasted delicious. Cake was soft and flavors were incredible. I especially loved the almond cake. Will definitely return for more! I have a write a few words because my experience with Dave’s Cakes was extraordinary. I emailed Dave asking about a tiered cake for my son’s 6th birthday, and he always responded quickly, and was happy to book my cake and offer suggestions. When I went to pick the cake up, I actually burst into tears because I was so blown away by how beautiful this cake was. I expected minimal decorations, but they went all out with a beautiful city skyline. Dave helped load the cake into my truck. Just an all around great experience, really touched me how much care they put into our order. The cake was THE STAR of the party - chocolate with ganache for bottom tier, vanilla confetti with buttercream on top tier. Moist, rich but not overly sweet. Huge hit with the birthday boy, and wowed all his kinder friends. Just incredible all around. Recommend to the highest degree. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a birthday during the great snowmaggedon earlier this month. Placing my order of 4 dozen cupcakes and working with Dave to get a design I wanted was so easy. The staff was flexible and friendly. And the fact that they were open the day after much snow was admirable, but understandable if they were to be closed on a day like that. My only complaint would be the cupcakes we got (standard chocolate and vanilla) were good but didn't knock my socks off with flavor. I wouldn't hold this against them, because we mainly wanted cute designs and went with basic flavors. But, if you’re indulging in a desert, you want it to be really worth it, no? I want to try some of the signature flavor cupcakes before I definitively make a judgment on the taste of these cakes. They advertise differently weekly flavors on Facebook, that would be worth checking out. Definitely would recommend for a birthday or anniversary where cake is needed! But I would love to see if these cakes are a worthy cheat day sometimes food. Service Take out Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
