I came here for a work Christmas party. Overall, I enjoyed the food. However, we waited over two hours just to get our food. I understand that it can be hard when there are group dinners like what they had that night at such a small establishment. however, the manager never came over to talk with us. We did not get any updates on how long our food was going to take, when I sat down it was 30 minutes before I was even given a water, and they also messed my soup up. I was happy with the food that I got, and I would go there again to give it another chance without it being a group event. Amazing experience ! I’m born and raised in Brooklyn , I have been in springhill for a year now and when I walked in this place it felt like home . The service was second to none , the food was prepared with love ! I tasted it . The portions are perfect. I cannot keep this gem of a place to myself. I found this place through Hernando County Food Lovers group and decided my husband and I need to try it out. They did not disappoint. The second you walk in the aroma of deliciously sautéed garlic fills the air and you’re met by a vibrant woman behind the counter. They offer take out as well but to the right through a small doorway you’re brought into a small intimate dining room decorated perfectly for the holidays. Looking through the menu there were so many choices. You can order pasta dishes, chicken, fish, veal and a plethora of other things. They also have a small wine list and draft beers. We stared with the Cabrese and fried calamari. Anyone who cooks calamari knows that it only takes a second for it to be over cooked. Decristofaro’s chefs know what they’re doing, each bite was perfection. Main course my husband ordered the lobster ravioli and I order the pescatore. Both came with soup or salad. I had barely started on my meal when my husband had already finished. I did not try his but it was clear he enjoyed it. My pescatore had mussels, shrimp, scallop, calamari and clams over linguine in a white wine sauce. The pasta was cooked to my liking which isn’t often as I don’t like Al dente but I don’t want it mushy either. They hit the mark with right in the middle. All the fish tasted fresh and nothing was over cooked, which would have made it very tough. Now we are at dessert. Cappuccino and cheesecake. A classic. Creamy and smooth. A perfect ending to a great meal. I give this place 10/10. It was fantastic and the staff was extremely nice. I recommend you all go. And as far as price point went, for all this food it wasn’t breaking the bank. Enjoy! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Everything was phenomenal. Our waiter James was polite, had great descriptions of everything we asked, gave fantastic recommendations. Cannot wait to come back!!! Our anniversary dinner was made special with the fruity deep flavorful wine, the juicy cheesey stuffed chicken parmesan, the rich creamy fettuccine alfredo, topped with cheesecake and to die for tiramisu. The only downside is I can't afford to eat here every night! Lol!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I cannot express how much I enjoyed my time here. From the ambiance, to the excellent service from James, this place is an absolute gem. The food was delicious and so fresh. Five stars across the board. Looking for a great Italian restaurant, go no further... A little hidden gem. They have done a great job with the decoration, a little small, but perfect. The wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and I ordered the Meatzza Pizza 10". As you wait for your meal, they bring you out warm, fresh made bread and dipping oil, yum... When the main came out, we were pleasantly surprised at the portion of the Alfredo (large bowl, full). The wife was super happy because the Alfredo came with plenty of Alfredo sauce. She said she has found her favorite place to get Alfredo from now on. The meat pizza was amazing, too. Great crust, nice crunch with the right amount of sauce and toppings. Plenty of leftovers, dinner for tonight, and some. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Even other staff stopped by to ensure we were good and happy. Saw this place when I was at the restaurant next door and got curious to try. The place is very cozy and the service is great, I tried the Spaghetti and Meat Balls and the taste was very Italian Authentic to try. I would highly reccomend this place because the prices are very reasonable. I found my regular Italian Escape, and hopefully I try more of their entrées next time. This place used to be good. Was there on Friday with my parents from our is town. I wanted to bring them somewhere nice and I have had some good food here in the past. We got there around 6:50pm and the place was not even busy. We received some bread and our salads working a reasonable time. Then waited for our food.. The waitress said we were next at 7:45pm.. Still nothing at 8pm. Told her we will give them 5 more minutes but then had to go. We waited until 8:30 then walked out. Maybe they ran out of circles and had to go to the store? Hopefully they get their stuff together. We ended up at Glory days where we got our meals in 25 minutes with a busy restaurant. We went there on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty. We were a family of four. We ordered bread, and 3 pasta dishes. The bread came out quickly, the salad and soups took 20 minutes. The soup just tasted like Panera bread and honestly Panera was better. Very lukewarm. The salad was just lettuce and 2 small tomatoes with dressing. Then the food. Oh boy the food. We waited a damn hour and a half for it. My dad almost fell asleep twice. Nobody else in the dining room got there food either. When we got it the pasta sauce tasted like pasta water and the other pasta was very drenched in a sort of pasta water sauce. It was slimy too. We didn’t even order dessert because we didn’t want to spend a eternity here. There’s better places around here, go there unless you got a whole day or night on your hands.
