This restaurant offers you great dishes of Mexican cuisine. Nicely cooked tortilla chips, omelettes and chili are the best dishes. A lot of visitors order good beer. It might be nice to try delicious horchata or great coffee. De Leon Foods is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. The food was delicious. I had the #1, pork with mild green chili sauce. Just keep in mind there mild is more like a medium but was very tasty still.

Best place in spokane to grab authentic mexican food, and groceries, and snacks. Their house made tortillas, chips, and salsa are some of the best I've had. Including a special jalapeno tortilla that the bomb! The restaurant is very well priced and well worth the money. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Food is authentic and amazing. Nothing wrong with the atmophere, it is very simple and functional. Not intended to be fine dining. I love that I can shop for authentic spices and foods while waiting or before I order. I have tried so many new things. Never anything bad. Have dined in but usually get take out. I've been here 3 times (to go) and liked it the first time but it got consistently worse each visit. The food is just not good/consistent... The worst thing I've had by far is the tamales. They tasted old and smelled weird, threw them out. Please just don't bother ordering if you're a tamale fan. While they both taste good, De Leon's is quite meager with the rice and bean portions on combo plates too. Service Take out Price per person $10–20 Food: 1

We hired De Leon to drop off catering for our son's birthday. The food was PHENOMENAL. Everybody at the party raved about it. They were on time, with all the food we ordered, it was all hot and again amazing tasting. We certainly will be using them again! Thank you for the great service! Now we have another favorite Mexican restaurant to go to! We ordered the Enchiladas Verde Plate, Chicken Nachos & the Tacos de Pollo combo plate. All were fresh, great flavor and perfect portions. On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, my wife and I plus a few friends went to De Leon Foods for dinner. We had been to De Leon’s Taco & Bar up north before and kind of expected a traditional family restaurant experience at this location as well. However, it is a little different. You do order up at the deli and then go up and retrieve your food once it is cooked. But don’t let that dissuade you from going because this place is awesome! Even though you aren’t assigned a server and even though the restaurant is within a grocery store, it is actually a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce and they were delicious. Perfect amount of spice and the rice and beans were tasty. In addition to my wife’s dish she ordered for herself, she also got “Rebel Fries” (covered in cheese and chicken) to share with the table. It was a unique item that you don’t see at most Mexican restaurants. The prices are cheap compared to what you would pay at Azteca or other family Mexican restaurants and the plate presentations are really well-done. I would definitely recommend De Leon Foods!

Great store and decent food from the kitchen. The chili Verde which is boneless pork in green salsa was delicious and tender. Custom service was great. Store was nice and clean. If you need authentic Mexican ingredients, this is the best place in the area to find them. The dopes were super delicious, we tried beef and chicken, both were super good. The salsa they give you is good as well, just not very hot. Overall a great place to get some groceries and and quick bite to take home. PS, the guacamole is mine.
