They have a super large selection. Guessing more than they can handle. Asked the waitress what they were known for and she looked puzzled and blurted, "breakfast" as she twirled her hair. I had and omlet that was tasty except the quart of bacon grease. Hashbrowns were excellent and the pancake was an Aunt Jemina special. My friends food was adequate too. Not a favorite. Cute little diner with very good food, including some unique offerings. My husband had the best Monte Cristo he's ever had, with fresh shaved turkey and ham. It was outstanding. I had a steak and Albanian salad that was delish! We both absolutely loved the chicken dumpling soup. We took the pie to go, so I can't comment on that yet. The service was also great. Went here on a Sunday for brunch. Very popular place, parking lot was full and there was a short wait for a table. Staff is super nice and friendly. Great selection of different items on the menu, will have to come back to try lunch and dinner items. Our brunch was delicious. I got a bacon/ cheese omelette with wheat toast and hash browns. Very generous amount of bacon and cheese in the omelette. My husband got one of their skillets: Meat lovers and a side pancake. Both were delicious. Could have been so much better. Seemed like a really nice family, but things just weren't that great. The first salad they served me had quite a bit of wilted lettuce in it. Then my daughter's French toast had a very long hair in it. My ribs seemed like they had been cooked a while ago and they were totally drenched in BBQ sauce. The highlight was dessert. We had the cherry and cream cheese pie and the Apple pie a la mode. Both were really good. Google said they closed at 9, but they closed at 8 PM. Still, that's no reason I couldn't get a 2nd coffee refill. Maybe we'll try them again another time.

We came up from Florida because my girlfriends moms best friend is in hospice and this is most likely her last Thanksgiving. We decided not to cook and take her out to dinner at DeForest and it was the best idea possible. I can’t express how nice everyone was. I loved feeling like I’ve been there a million times before. The food was amazing and don’t even get me started on the dessert selection. We had the Roasted Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best I’ve ever had, even compared to home made! Thank you for making our thanksgiving even more memorable. We will definitely be back every time we come to Wisconsin. We went early morning on a Wednesday. Not took many people in there writing a few min we got our water and menus and I'd say writing 5 min of getting in we were ordering.
