After driving all around Lake Havasu and realizing that almost everything was closed for Thanksgiving, I looked up and saw that Good Old Reliable Denny's was open. Already knowing it was going to be very crowded, we went on in. I cannot begin to tell you how bad I felt for the employees as the place was packed, I am sure from open to close, including as we piled in the door with the rest. I expected to wait much longer, but we were seated quickly. After placing our orders, I looked over and saw a Thanksgiving special advertisement on the table. Knowing how busy they work, I felt badly about changing my order, but seeing as how it was Thanksgiving and all, I really wanted a traditional turkey dinner. So I went ahead and changed it. Our server Coleman along with every employee in there was amazing. He took care of us from beginning to end, and made our Thanksgiving experience a very nice one. I truly want to commend every employee in that restaurant for the outstanding job they did under what I would consider to be extreme pressure. Food was good, awesome service. Downside: It was so cold inside the restaurant and there was a weird smell when i entered. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
