We were looking to grab a bite before heading home bound & picked this place based on some Google reviews/images. We were happy to end up here. Our server was friendly & fast! They bring you a free bowl of popcorn to snack on & it is delicious. Not over the top salty, just right! We liked the antiques that were scattered about. The food arrived quickly & it was delicious. Good atmosphere and drinks. Original bar which was cool. Packer signs on the walls. Love that! Sat at the bar and had the perch fish fry. We got the lunch special that came with2 pieces which were good size. I’m always happy when I don’t get a bone. Not a single one. Glad I didn’t get the all you can eat! What a great stop! Food was great quality bar food. Stopped in here for a late lunch and drink while catching some of the lions game with family. Though service was a bit slow, she was very apologetic and did what she could to make our experience the best. They got slammed all at once. I was very impressed by how they handled the pressure. Food was great and everyone enjoyed their meals. I’m not a Michigan local and the popcorn appetizer was new, but so fun! Great looking bar and clean! Went here today for lunch. Very long wait bc the waitress was alone, and we were the 4th table for her. She was very nice and the food was worth the wait. Poutine was great even though we asked for no scallions. Burger was delish as well as the cheese balls. I’d recommend this place. Our family of four stopped here for alate lunch. Couple of us got the perch basket, someone got chicken strip basket and someone got the sliders. We ordered and basket of garlic parmesan fries. I have to say this place is awesome. Service was friendly and food came to us very fast. The foods was hot, which we all loved and commitment on it. The portions were big, actually all of us did not eat all of our portion. I have to say this is a great place to stop and have lunch. 10/20/23: Stopped in for the first time for dinner while visiting TC. We both tried the Perch basket- fries were good, fish was dry and flavorless, tarter sauce tasted odd. Our server, Melissa, was a delight! She was very friendly, smiling, knowledgeable, and attentive. Side note- the restaurant floors had a lot of debris and the restroom was filthy. Again, excellent food. Excellent service. Super clean restaurant. Friendly staff and patrons! Restrooms are plenty big and easy to find. Not like the parking. Great atmosphere. Waitress forgot to put in the order of a burger for 1 of our party if five. No big deal, confirms cheeseburger ordered. A while later someone else brought out a burger with a bunch of condiments- onion lettuce tomato etc, but not the cheese burger ordered. Finally get her attention again she takes it back. Another 10 minutes later a cheeseburger comes out that has obviously been microwaved as bun was hot, as well as there were remnants of the lettuce and onion on the side. I mean, it's a great neighborhood pub. Food hits the spot after a day of winery tours. The service was quick and genuine, and there was a good mix of locals and visitors.
