Stunning river view with super instagrammable dessert dishes. This place is a hotel with cafe within the same area, I did visit the cafe and found that their presentation gimmic were on point. Also, every dishes taste quite nice but being a little pricy comparing to other cafes in Kanchanaburi. Talking about the tourist destination cafes, what impressed me the most is their calm vibe that perfect for weekend relaxation. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Superb cafe next to the river, i can feel the windy under the shade here. Food/Drink have a bit expensive, but worth for the person whom love to have a chill moment here. -1 food for the price, and my glass of soda that didn’t clean enough after i’ve request the replacement glass. And they didn’t mind us the soda in the previous glass that they take it from us. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person ฿200–300 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Good vibes to enjoy the atmosphere here. Clam and relax. Foods are looking good. Feel relax to eat here for dinner during sundown to night time. 😇🩵✨ Lot of seats. Not crowded. We were staying in and not in the mood to go out.
We ordered yoghurt & mango smoothie and Scones. Smoothie was bit too sour. Scone with clot cream and homemade jam was good. Food is quite expensive. The cafe atmosphere is good, you can have a river view if you sit outdoor (but we did not try as it was super hot when we visited). This place has excellent food! We arrived literally 10 minutes before the kitchen closed (7:50 pm…even though it says 9:30 pm closing time on Google Maps, that’s apparently wrong); yet, they were happy to take us and let us order whatever we wanted! We ordered several things: Rose Cascara Iced Tea, My Sassy Girl Iced Tea, Spinach Rolls, Tom Yum-Spiced Fried Wings, Capellini White Wine Pasta, the special black-bun pork burger with the local Kanchanaburi mushroom, Sweet Corn ice cream dessert and the Frozen Camp Fire Dessert. To start, it is a bit confusing trying to find the restaurant. When you arrive, you have to walk through an extremely modern section of the hotel, turn right, and then you’ll find Din Cafe a bit farther down before you reach stairs. It has floor-to-ceiling windows at the inside part and they have outdoor seating as well. It doesn’t necessarily look like a full restaurant (more of a cafe?) but don’t be fooled! The drinks were super good! The Rose Cascara Iced Tes had a very unique flavor - not too sweet and it was also in a super cool teacup. Definitely would order again! However, the My Sassy Girl Iced Tea was even better! It was a nice, fruity tea drink…and I would order that one a lot! For appetizers, the Spinach Rolls were surprisingly good - something I didn’t think I’d like, but they were! They came with honey mustard dipping sauce - nice and crunchy. Very good! And then the Tom Yum-Spiced Fried Wings were exceptional! They were tempura-fried chicken wings - all drumsticks, so nice and easy to eat, and the dipping sauce was so good. For mains, the Capellini White Win Pasta was extremely good - for a Thai restaurant, their pasta was easily as good as any pasta in a restaurant in Europe or the US! But, the burger was the favorite. Look for it on the menu - it’s a bit more expensive than the other burgers, but it is WORTH IT! It has a rare mushroom only found in Kanchanaburi region on it, the meat is a good pork burger, and overall such a unique flavor. I’m craving it already! Finally for dessert, we really wanted to try the two most famous desserts: the one made to look like a pink tree, and the hazelnut chocolate dessert shaped like the River Kwai Bridge. I am sure these desserts would’ve been exceptional, but unfortunately, they were both sold out when we came. So we settled for the sweet corn ice cream and the Frozen Camp Fire dessert. Both were decent, but not necessarily desserts I would order again. So if I were you, I’d order the pink tree dessert and hazelnut chocolate cake (obviously good as there’s a reason they were already sold out) and skip the desserts that we got. Other than that, everything came out super fast and we were very happy with our meal! We will definitely be coming back! 🤗
The place is quite well designed to the contemporary style. The earth wall texture is quite unique comparing to others in the hood. The cafe was ok but the waiters and waitresses are not quite friendly. Food was ok, not so great but edible. The Samosa they served was quite greasy and the pork in Burger was a bit hard. Other than that the ambient was quite great for photo taking. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
If you asked for a Thai-western fusion food that doesn't hurt your tongue and stomach, this is your place. The price will be like having a meal in your Western countries’ restaurants or more from looking at the serving portion, in my opinion the portion is like a snack size to me. You have to call the staff for service as they don't walk around checking on customers as they do in western. It has a stunning river view, and the place (restaurant and hotel) looks like a typical Western-style standard. Deserts and drinks are pretty good if you just want to come and enjoy the view. Very stylish place a bit outside of Kanchanaburi with excellent food. However, the service provided was very bad. 1. Despite us coming while a waiter was present on the outside deck, nobody came to give us the menu 2. After making them aware of us (10 minutes) and finally having ordered, they brought the desert before the main course. 3. Of course no salt or pepper with the main courses. 4. When it started to rain, the waiter were more concerned about covering the furniture than helping us to bring our food and drinks inside. Please note, around 8 waiter, only 2 parties to serve (so basically empty here) If you are in the area, eat here, but don't expect any service. Great atmosphere. Recommend to come visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as there is a beautiful outdoor zone. Drink and bakery are a bit expensive. Their tastes are passable, but the displays and arrangements are worth mentioned here. TL;DR Come here to hangout, but don't expect too much. The scenery make this place worth coming though.
Good western food in Kanchanaburi, not fake western well-decorated and yummy. Also nice scenery cause the restaurant sits in the resort beside the river Kwai so the price is what you expect😅 recommended! Desserts are good too esp. the lemon curd chocolate lava cake we love, sweet&sour💓
