This place was incredible. I was honestly amazed with the quality of the food given how reasonable the prices were. Felt like I was definitely getting my money’s worth. 10/10 would go again. Edit: went again for dinner (first for brunch). Food is still excellent. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pozole Brunch

I have come to Dolores a handful of times since the summer. I generally like their food and drinks. I went back this evening and ordered a huarache with pork belly. The huarache came with chunks of inedible fat and very little meat. I asked for the fresh veggies that come with the tacos to come with my enchiladas- the cilantro, the onions and the radish. I was brought cooked Veggies that go on the inside of a taco instead of the fresh toppings, and then was told I would still be up charged for them, even though the waiter brought the wrong thing to me. Who does that? They ultimately adjust the up charge from $4 to $2, but I have never been charged for the cilantro, radish, and onion. That was enough for me to say I won’t be back anytime soon. Treat your patrons better. The meal cost me $75 for one app, one entree and two drinks. It’s not cheap at Dolores for them to be stingy with cilantro and onions. Great drinks! Tetelas were amazing, as was the cactus salad. The mole wasn’t vegetarian but the sauce was incredible. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Recommended dishes Mole Poblano

Really happy with the food here and ambience! Service is a bit strange, and the food comes out slow, but it’s worth it. I loved their mole and it’s probably my fave one I’ve had outside Mexico. Sweet and chocolatey! Tacos were great as well.

The food, atmosphere, and drinks are phenomenal. Emphasis on the drinks especially. All the drinks are done with non US common tequila and mezcals, so don't expect to order Casamigos. Trust the process and their recommendations. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fresh Guacamole and House-Made Chips
A nice higher end but not super pricey Mexican restaurant, food is very fresh and tasty, didnt love that rice and beans are served family style but they bring as many refills as you want. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mole Poblano

Lovely spot, beautiful art work. The food was delicious. We tried the cactus salad, it was different in a pleasant way! We asked for more jalapeños and we’re brought a side dish of them which lasted through our entrees. The cactus which has a slimy consistency was on the salty side which I liked. I had the Suiza, 3 chicken enchiladas smothered in a green sauce. There was only chicken in the tortillas. They were good, but thought adding some slivers of jalapeños, tomatoes and maybe some of the onions from the cactus salad would’ve made these enchiladas- so much better. The chicken wasn’t super flavorful, it wasn’t bland but maybe that was because of the green sauce. The Mole Poblano that was served with beans, tortillas and rice was good. We agreed the refried beans were delicious, great flavor. They looked like black beans. The mole which I only tried, was eaten up and described to me as “really good.” Mole is not my thing, but they had a few dishes with various mole sauces. The bartender who we spoke with as we were leaving was super friendly! Might consider sitting at the bar next time, it’s away from main dining area. We were initially seated near the kitchen away from all the diners, so we asked for another table, there were plenty. We had a reservation so we were not sure why we were sat away from the rest of the diners/action. The restaurant filled up but not completely so there were plenty of tables, including a couple of cozy tables for 4 that offer a little privacy. Spectacular! Wow. Delicious authentic Mexican food. Tremendous staff and friendly environment. Great location with plenty of street parking. Best Margarita I ever had as well as other unique cocktails. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I went here after a number of people had recommended it. Overall this did not live up to the hype people gave it. Living in a house with someone who is Mexican makes you appreciate real authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is not shy about charging you however they underdeliver for what you pay. First and really important is if you are going to claim authentic Mexican cuisine you need to serve homemade tortillas not store bought. This was a huge disappointment. My wife had the pistachio mole which had a good flavor, chorizo was a nice balance however should have had more octopus. The carne asada meat had a nice flavor and was tender. The rice was okay however needed some seasoning. Beans had a good flavor and seemed fresh. Service was a bit hit or miss. At times seemed like they were rushing you a bit and in a place like this servers should not be wearing t-shirts. Overall disappointed after hearing all the good reviews. Uncertain if we would return Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Pistachio Mole
