Came here for dinner a few nights ago and was not disappointed. “Mr G” was an excellent server and nice to chat with. I saw him having great interactions with other guests as well. The Oysters Rockefeller were fantastic. I also had the beef cheeks. They were cooked well and had a great flavour. The saffron rice that came with was also delicious. I would have enjoyed a bit more rice on the plate, but understand that these are the size of dishes to expect :) for dessert, Mr G put on a great show to prepare a maple syrup, strawberry flambé over ice cream. It was a pleasure to watch, as well as eat! Thank you for a great experience Gamaliel!

The food is absolutely amazing, both the cooking and seasoning. The restaurant itselft is as beautiful as the meals. Eduardo gives an excellent service and made me and my friends really enjoy our experience!

Don Pablo restaurant at Gran Bahia principe resort … with amazing service from Mr G (Yogan Braga) .. both are 5 star and more!!
From start to finish.. delicious, beautifully plated food…. The service was beyond exceptional with MrG .. his with attention to detail, his professionalism and humour made our evenings a Don Pablo the most memorable … I have posted photos of the food it’s amazing & if you get a chance to visit Bahia and you are looking for excellent food and exceptional service reserve Don Pablo … request MrG as a server … he will make your dining experience special! One little note if you purchase a bottle of wine you will be treated to a flambé desert made by MrG … and wow does he put on a show … we all stop and watch .. and the taste well you no words … give it a try!!!
To be honest this was the best experience we had during our stay in the hotel. The food was unexpectedly good, service the best we had (so you can imagine how the rest was) and the ambience invited to relax.
If you stay in the Grand Tulum do not miss this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner for my in-laws anniversary. So glad we chose this restaurant for the celebration. Food’s presentation is delightful as well as the flavor. All dishes we tried were very good and the service was superb. Ambiance is beautiful, decoration and comfort. Our waiter was excellent. Typing this, I wish I was there again!
As a party of 3, we had dinner at Don Pablo today and we got to try many options. The menu is versatile, beef, chicken, sea food options are available.
The twist on appetizers and soups was great, specially the protbello mushroom soup that was served in a cup and was super yummy.
For main we had 2 beef options and one seafood and the beef won over the seafood.
Sweets came after a heavy meal but we would recommend the Crème Brûlée then the icecream.
That said, the restaurant setup is modern and neat, the ambiance is amazing and the music is French classics!
Filberto helped us tonight and he was amazing, he went above and beyond in his service , recommendations and the smile that didn’t leave his face!

Our meals were very nice (not mind blowing, but enjoyable), and our waiter was lovely - very sweet and friendly and helpful. Our favorite part of the evening was when the waiter made us mayan coffees tableside - it was a very fun display - he lit the alcohol on fire and poured streams of flame back and forth from one pitcher to another. And the final drink was delicious!

This place gave me terrible food poisoning, specifically the juniper starter dish which contained raw salmon. The food is nothing special and overhyped as gourmet. They need to work on their food safety.
Food was below any acceptable standard.We came wi the high expectations for a gourmet restaurant and we were deeply disappointed.
The all meals expect the desert were very very low standard to un-eatable.
The service was great and they were very allergy aware. deserts were also good.
I do not recommend this place and I will definitely not come again
