With their warning, their sandwich is piled high enough that we had to split our sandwich. This place is wonderful! Fun for kids to use their old fashioned toys, children’s table and chairs while the adults can remember oldies pictures, equipment and even a banana bike and an old fashioned ping pong table! Fun, funky and fabulous!!! Well worth going out of our way to find. This high quality deli and sandwich shop uses Boars Head meats and cheeses exclusively, and generously! This electively decorated little treasure was a delightful adventure on our long drive home. The owner and her sssociate are friendly and most welcoming. Well worth seeking out. Ive been dying to try this place since someone told me about jt. Dragged the hubby there this weekend! It was so food we called my mother in law and took her one home. I was in town during NC Trail Days and was looking for lunch. Some local residents recommended Donna Kaye's and she did not disappoint! I grew up going to authentic delis in NJ and visits to NYC where the subs are incredibly delicious. I had The New Yorker at Donna Kaye's and couldn't believe just delicious it was - awesome portions and reasonably priced. This restaurant brought back memories of tasty sandwiches from my childhood. I've came here twice and ordered The Frenchie both times. The bread is amazing, the meat is amazing and don't get me started on the cheese! 😋 I quit eating subway a long time ago because I kept getting sick after eating there. My wife and I have been going to eat lunch here for the past few weeks. It's awesome. Huge space with lots of art, pictures, and games! The food is fresh and not only tastes great, but is also visually appealing. Bring an appetite because you will want to eat the whole sandwich. Take some time to talk to the owner. She is awesome.
