By far the best restaurant on the island, yes the whole of Borneo Island! I have an Italian wife with above Italian standards for food. (Sorry amore) We discovered this amazing restaurant by accident (Google maps location is not correct - it is located next to “ Wing Tat Grand Hotel”). My wife and I were both blown away by how amazing the food tasted, how fast the service from the staff, and best of all how cheap it was. We went for lunch, then dinner, then repeated this for 3 more days - so our review should be worth 6 reviews crammed in to one. This place is never empty - always busy or have customers. Highly recommend this place. We told all the people we met and went to tour with and they said the same. Honestly felt this was one of our highlights being in Semporna. As a local who lives in here, having a wonderful restaurant around just like a bless. cause it's so hard to find a good service with the excellent food. I recommend to any tourist or Malaysian who come to Semporna, should try Dozo Semporna... 💯% u won't regret it👍. I am from San Francisco California USA 🇺🇸! This is the best restaurant in all of Semporna! The hotel next door TAT WAN is also my favorite hotel! Most of Semporna is very poor so when you walk to the Public Jetty you will see many beggars. That is why I stay here at Tat Wan and eat here at DOZO! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Staff can’t handle customer with good. Fighting with other customer at counter, make the other customer uncomfortable. Some staff eat chewing gum. Staff say, 2 person can’t eat at a big table, then how we can order more food if only can eat at the small table. Plate so big, not enough space at table. This is a second Dozo brand opened in Semporna, the first one was closed permanently some time back. It's a very good coffee shop with variety of menus. Very nicely designed café! Food was very good. However, I would kindly suggest 2 areas to improve: 1. REDUCE SINGLE USE PLASTIC ITEMS There is such a huge issue with plastic waste everywhere, but especially in Semporna. There is no need for plastic cups and straws for customers in the café! It is really heartbreaking that all drinks but coffee are served in plastic... 2. Waiters While all waiters were very kind and spoke good English, despite the fact that I counted 13 waiters working, sometimes it took several minutes to get some attention. It would be better to assign certain tables to a specific waiter who should have an overview. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Do not understand the hype. The claypot noodles were no better than instant pot noodles, the wontons were nice but the dish was missing the vegetables and prawns that were shown on the menu. Was a large portion and quite cheap but wouldn’t return
