A warm evening for summer concerts, and the bands were excellent. Parking was difficult this evening because the river cats were also playing. The food selection was great and the pizza's taste yummy. They don't take cash, debit or credt. A good variety of alcohol choices. The area was great to have kids running around while you watch and enjoy yourself. This is also an animal friendly location. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely love this place. The outdoor fire pit for smores and Mexican hot chocolate 🍫. Great service. We had wings and hummus. It was very good! Very out doors with heating lamps too . Best service from Richie and Trevor! Love these guys! Updated Sept 8, 2023 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So we meandered on down to The Barn last weekend to check it out. Maybe the unique architecture and my longing for a solid place to hang inflamed my expectations for finding our next gem, but such was not the case. Don't get me wrong, the vibes were spot on and if you're just going to drink, it's perfect! A DJ and some outside vendors really added to the lively atmosphere. The food, however, was a disappointment. Untoasted bread with warm spinach dip just seems sacrilegious (dip was pretty good though). The Eb pizza came out with 1 little piece of sausage on it instead of lots of bacon, it was lacking in the amount/distribution of pineapple and jalapeno, and the sauce was pretty off in flavor. And for $10, I thought the brussels sprouts would be better. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Such a unique place with a great atmosphere. Definitely one of our top favorite hangout spots around. It’s great for the whole family (pups too), my kids love running around and playing on the logs while my husband and I sit back and watch nearby. There is SO much space, I’ve never seen it “too” packed. Wait times for food can be awhile when they are busy (naturally) but we’ve never minded. Absolutely recommend checking it out at least once, but I bet you’ll wanna come back again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Beer and Pizza

Be prepared if you're driving on a popular time and day. Know the public parking options available. I ended up paying $22 to park on the street, but didn't know about a cheaper parking structure. This is obviously not Drake's fault, just putting out a word to the wise. I had a great time at Drake's, food wasn't amazing, pizza was super wet and limp but I didn't go there for oven roasted pizza. The atmosphere was resort-like with so many places to post up. The live music was fantastic, a band called Windstorm was there and rocked the house. If all the dancers and music was too much and you wanted more quiet, the place is so large, you can easily find a quieter fire pit to surround and chill. Don't bring your good shoes :-) I don't know if my good sandals will ever look the same, a lot of dirt and trail DG. It wasn't a super hot day, but misters were out while the Sun was up and the fires were lit when it cooled down. All this said and I haven't even mentioned the beer, I found my favorite, and they have a large selection of draft, premium and local libations. I'm looking forward to going back, give it a shot, it's definitely a cool spot to hang out with a group of friends, bring your dog, chill and just enjoy beautiful happy people. I had Drake's beers down in South Bay, so when I found out a friend was going to take me to a Drake's in Sac, I quickly checked to see the chance it was the same company...and it was! The venue here is fantastic!! Huge space and lots of seating. You can order drinks inside and outside. They often have events, so be sure to lookout for those to join in or avoid big crowds. Street parking only.

Cool dog friendly spot outside "on the river" in West Sac. Staff was friendly, fire pit rental was awesome and reasonably priced. Food was easy to order via qr code at each table and arrived via server quickly. Everyone enjoyed their beer, drinks and food all of which were delicious and not too expensive. Will definitely go back, possibly via scooter on the river and probably bring the dog 👊❤️ There is a lot of decomposed granite so shoes might get a bit dirty so I'd leave the high heels at home 💞🏠👊🤟 Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very cool open-air beer garden and restaurant that feels like the perfect choice for a date, a large group, a small group, or anything in between. They have lots of tables to choose from, essentially all of which are outdoors, plus some fire pits you can rent and grassy areas where you can mingle about. It's primarily a brewery, so there are tons of delicious beer options. Cocktails are available as well though. The food menu leans heavily on pizzas and burgers, so it is not super extensive, but the pizzas are big, reasonably priced, and delicious (we haven't tried the burgers). You order through a QR code on your table. You'll need a reservation for weekend nights for sure. Keep in mind everything is outdoors so this place really shines when the weather is nice, but it won't be a great choice if it's hot or rainy. Highly recommended and one of Sacramento's best hangouts! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
