We were seated immediately. This is a pretty big restaurant, bright and inviting. Service was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the spicy Szechuan noodle soup and it was excellent and spicy! Loved it. We also ordered their signature braised beef shank noodle soup. It sure didn't disappoint. The tofu starter with century egg was perfect to put out the fire in my mouth. The sauce was particularly savory and yummy. Their teas are also worth exploring. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here for the first time on Sunday afternoon, waited less than ten minutes for a table of four. Service was good, no complaints. I got the tomato with fried egg noodles with handmade noodles. Those noodles are THICKK. I wish I got the thin noodles cuz that's just my sgyle. I liked the broth a lot and nothing was overly salty. I loved my winter melon. lemonade as well, not super sweet either. I'd say this place is pricey because of the size portion they give you. It's smaller than I thought it would be for the price, but it is still filling. If you're thinking of getting the combo because it's a good deal, I would skip out on it because the side is so small for $3. I would come here again, very good if you're in the mood for some soup noodles and the other places in the plaza are too crowded. I tried their Braised Beef Shank Noodle Soup with Tendon, and it was an aromatic delight. The flavorful beef bone broth paired perfectly with the chewy beef shank and tender tendon. The transparent beef shank had a pleasing elasticity and contained a generous amount of gelatin, while the tendon was soft and solid. The braised broth had a fragrant and slightly numbing quality from slow stewing. While I found the quantity and quality of the meat to be acceptable, it's a bit pricey for what you get. We also had the Braised Dish Platter, which included tofu, seaweed, fish cake, beef tripe, and tendon. It was good, no complaints.

Tastes ok, but for the price it is not worth it. Flavor is decent however very oily, portion is small, not much meat or noodles. And for $17-20 it's just terrible value. Wouldn't recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I came after looking at the good reviews and wanted something soupy. Arrived at 11:40am, not very busy, maybe it is a Monday. Music playing sounds depressing and speakers are loud. Felt moody eating the noodles. Maybe change the genre of chinese songs? Price point is a little higher than average noodle restaurants. Too many spicy menu options. I am surprised there are quite a lot of noodles in the soup, but only 2 PIECE of vegetables leaves. Beef soup was too oily and greasy. Soup Base was okay. Soup was too hot temperature, slightly left a tongue burning. One hour later, mouth & throat dried up. It is filling if you want to walk out with a stomach full of soup. This was our initial attempt at sampling their beef noodle soup and braised dish. On the whole, the noodle soup was flavorful, but we found it to be a tad too "oily". The serving size was generous, and given the price of USD18 per bowl, we deemed it to be reasonably priced. Similarly, the braised dish was tasty, and the portion size was also fair for its cost of USD10.
The beef soup and the chicken soup are both pretty good. It is on the more condensed side versus the clear ones, and personally I like them. They give quite a large portion of meat, although the veggies are a bit lacking. The noodles are a bit too hard. I'd say it not the best in town. Nonetheless the flavors are pretty good. And it is pretty pricey Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We had Duan Chun Zhen beef noodle in Cupertino before, so it was great to see they stretched out to the east Bay. The flavor was just as good as the one in Cupertino— the soup was great and the braised plate was delicious. We would definitely come back again! Overpriced. $20 for a bowl of beef noodle soup. Service is what? There's service? The amount of noodle is pathetic. You wanna be cheap on the meat? Ok. But the noodle too? Wyatt you are in the photo is pretty much what you'd get. There's not much more under the soup. No. I'd go elsewhere. The flavor isn't even that exceptional. Given the cost for amount of noodle.. I wouldn't bring my friends here. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes braised pork intestine 卤肥肠
