I thought the big D was a great burger. First time trying this chain. I love trying regional burger joints that I've never had before! I thought the beef was tasty and the real standouts were the bun and the pickle they used. That is a tasty burger! Gotta try a dog next time I'm in CT. Awful! We ordered 2 mushroom burgers & 1 cheesesteak on New Year’s Day as the nearby Cracker Barrel was mobbed with one hour wait! The hamburger patties were small, thin, desiccated AND barely warm, likely a leftover patty that was hastily microwaved. There was only a tiny bit of mushrooms & the cheese was cold! Only the bun seemed fresh. The peppers in my son’s cheesesteak were bitter. The only good thing was the fries. I am no lover of McDonald’s but I longed for it while I ate the burger so we could get back on 95. What a total waste of $37 for this swill. Never again! Burgers and fries are my favorite. The staff has always been friendly and kind, which seems to be rare these days in the fast-food industry. Highly recommend over the “other” choices. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice people run the place but the food was just so bad. There was no flavor to my chicken it had been sauteed with nothing not even butter or salt and pepper. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

First time stopping here. I greet the girl at the counter and she completely ignored me.. I wanted to walk right back out and go elsewhere.. we ordered 2 long chili dogs which sat under the heat lamp for a few minutes cause the rude counter girl disappeared.. when she came back she wiped her runny nose with her bare hand and then proceeded to put our hotdogs in a bag… absolutely disgusting filthy pig! I’ll never go to this place ever again! The counter lady alone is enough to turn customers away because she has zero skills at even being friendly! Seems like they will hire ANYONE!
