During our visit to Istanbul, my son chanced upon this small joint on the net where the late Anthony Bourdain ate. So, we visited this small and unique dürüm place and boy it was fabulous ! I gave up beef almost 15 years and yet I tried the traditional adana dürüm and a chicken/tuvak. Slow grilled over charcoal and wrapped on a paratha like Dürüm, it is absolutely stunning ! Cash only! No card. It’s a tiny corner place with limited seating. The chicken wings are divine. All the meat here is high quality and perfectly cooked. It’s well known because Bourdain ate here. The place has a hype as Anthony Bourdain featured it some time ago. Menu is easy, the joint is small, the vibe is traditional and the quality of the meat (chicken in my case) was extremely high.
