If I'm going to pay $6.00 for one biscuit with gravy, and $3.00 for a soda, I at least expect you to thank me! The cashiers didn't even greet me or ask me how things were. She simply takes my money and hands me my change. No "thank you" or "have a nice day". Nothing! One of my biggest pet peeves of all. I won't be back!

We both had horseshoes which were delicious. The burgers tasted like ground sirloin. The waitress said 2 sides. I asked what the sides were and I chose salad. She immediately took my friend's order and did not give the opportunity for me to choose my second side. She brought out or entrees and check and never returned. My friend needed a refill on her drink. She put her glass at the edge of the table however, pur waitress never came back. She walked past us a couple of times but never even looked at us. We had to request to go boxes from another employee. Terrible customer service from our waitress. Good thing the food was good because customer service was the worst. It's a pretty solid place to grab a bite to eat. Portions are fair for the price. I won't drive out of my way to go there, but if I'm in the area and looking for some basic food, then we'll head that way. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Good food, friendly staff. I come in from out of town from time to time, and usually eat there at least once. You really can feel the small town vibes. Everybody knows at least one person there, if not more. In conclusion. If you want some stick to your gut food on a cold and wet day. This is the place for you! Best breakfast spot in Bethalto! Be patient if you're there in the AM... It often takes a minute to talk to a waitress but the cooks are rocket fast!

The meat lovers breakfast bowl and pancakes was awesome! The wife had the french toast with bacon, warning it’s texas toast. Our server was on the spot without hovering. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
