Had dinner here on a long road trip. Don't waste your time looking around the menu...order the burger that has the local, fresh, never frozen beef. Excellent. Madison was our server...excellent. For home cooking, you can’t beat Ed’s! The portions are generous and tasty, not to mention freshly made. I especially recommend the lunch specials (meat + 3), cornbread and desserts. Breakfast is made to order and plentiful. This is a classic home town diner, so don’t expect luxurious surroundings, just good food and super friendly staff. The good is always good and the people are down home and ready to help you with anything! My pawpaw loved this place and it's still one of my favorites! Place is a typical side of the road quick stop - nothing fancy. Staff is nice. Got a Philly cheesesteak to go but it was too salty to eat - odd because the fries didn't have any salt on them. I would have brought it all back if I was close but I was 30 minutes away before I tried anything. Sandwich was just really... damp ... or something- dripping with I don't know what but I had to wrap it in paper towels for a while before I could pick it up. Put the salt on the fries and leave it off the grill. And not for nothin' - no napkins nor salt or pepper or ketchup in the bag ?!?! Price per person $1–10

OK I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews but the grilled chicken sandwich was absolutely horrible, For a grilled chicken sandwich an onion ring And a large shake was over $20 without the tip, to have all your food prepared for by a bunch of teenagers. Honestly, I hate to say this just go to Chick-fil-A you’ll save money and the food will be good and at a better price. Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
