Being at Edgerton Travel Plaza, order perfectly cooked chicken. This place is famous for good coffee. Gracious employees reflect the style and character of this place. From the guests' point of view, prices are low. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.2.

Take a right after you get off the interstate and you'll find Edgerton travel plaza. This place has godfather's Pizza and Chester's Chicken inside along with a Winchester restaurant which is actually a diner open 24 hours they have many souvenirs and various local baked goods. Large selection of toiletry items

Friendly folks. Paid for three chicken tenders, got four. That means I was only able to choke down half of the cool, dry chunks of flesh, rather than two-thirds. Potato wedges were warm. Bisquet bordered on crunchy. No way this chicken showcase is Health Department compliant. Not exactly fresh.
Edgerton travel plaza is exactly what it states they are a travel plaza. They have everything you need while you're on the road. The Establishment is clean and the employees are very helpful. I like it there whenever I travel through there I'm going to make it a point to stop by.
Location and parking is decent. Employees nice, Have not tried the restaurant yet, but the convenience store food suck, hotbox food over cooked an nasty. Some of the food tastes like it had been warm an refrigerated more than once. Next trip through might try the restaurant, Don't always have time to stop that long...
I can't say a whole lot about the travel plaza. Stopped to empty my bladder in the middle of a road trip, bought some energy drinks, and left. The bathrooms were clean, and their shelves were stocked. They did everything I needed them to, but there wasn't much that stood out as extraordinary.
I spent $600 on fuel. And then I went inside to get a beer and a shower, But the flunky at the registered told me I couldn't have both at the same time. It's not like I was gonna drink in the shower the Beer was for later. I'm an adult I generally know what behavior is acceptable and what isn't. I really don't need a Minimum wage flunky telling me how to behave.. I think i'm gonna buy fuel elsewhere until you get rid of this guy.

Easy access from the freeway. Not the cleanest but not the worst combination car and Semi's. Premade food for quick on the go meal. Plenty of additional parking. The fuel prices are in line with other stations along the freeway. Takes cash and credit.

The bathrooms are pretty old but they’re always clean. There’s lots of neat gifts to look at in the convenience store. In a small (teeny tiny) room, there’s about 4 slot machines to test your luck at. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken late in the evening, but you can ask to try a sample and test the freshness for yourself.

We stopped on our way to the Dells. The cashier was extremely nice & even the locals. They were there getting gas. Went out of the way to talk to us. The bathrooms were very clean for being a truck stop. The store was VERY clean. Everything was labeled and priced. On our way back we stopped at about 1 am it was very well lit up. The cashier was on the phone with a customer. That had lost something & went above and beyond. He walked outside to every gas pump to see if he could find whatever it was the person lost. Then walked inside to the bathrooms and looked for the item. He apologized numerous times. For being away from the counter. I told him please don't apologize. Whenever I am in the area I will most definitely be using this gas station. We filled up with diesel it was the cheapest around. If you are a gambler. They had a small area where you could play slot machines!!
Today at 10:56am I was in the womens restroom and a caucasian male opens up the door to the womens restroom and says "get outta there" as I am washing and drying my hands. I walk out and we lock eyes as he is leaning on the slot machine and I said "what the hell man" and he says "is anyone else in there I'm the janitor". Then waves me off like whatever and proceeds to walk in the womens restroom. So my spouse and I tell the plaza clerk (female) what happened and she leans over the counter and says "he said what? Our janitor is here, but he shouldn't be talking to anyone like that". Then goes to the back to talk to him and were thinking she's going to handle the situation, and she comes back and says "he says he just said janitor". I'm sorry about that. That is not okay. I am pretty sure this is not the first time that has happened. How are customers supposed to feel safe? I didn't even know that man was a janitor, because I have never encountered a janitor to act like that. His sporadic behavior and mannerisms give off he was on something. I didn't know if he was some perv or was trying to harm myself or other women. Something has to be done because that is a safety risk not only for the customers, but for your so called janitor. Someone could hurt him and not think twice especially behaving way he did. We live in unpromising troubled times and things can turn in the blink of an eye. He needs to have consequences one way or another because that can not keep happening.
