Great Mexican Restaurant! The service was fantastic. There was only one server working and when it got busier, she never let it show. She was working really hard, keeping up with everything, and never looked bothered. She was extremely friendly and her customer service was top rated. The food was delicious and plentiful. El Charro is such a great little BYOB Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend their shrimp tacos! My husband and I have become regulars there. That is how much we enjoy their tacos. Tommy, whom waits on the table is very friendly and we always enjoy our conversations with him. Fantastic brisket tacos. Loaded with juicy meat and gooey cheese. The guac side was huge and delicious. My bb friend loved her taco salad. Even the red velvet cake was great. Wonderful service. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Burrito Bowl

This place took over from the old Mexican restaurant that was there. Identical Interior layout, color scheme, tables etc. I think they just changed the name and opened the doors as a new restaurant. Came here for dinner. Home made Guacamole seemed rather expensive- $13 or $14? They do NOT have a liquor license so you can BYOB Had the burrito bowl and other person had a burrito. Food was ok- nothing to really rave above. The chips they served in the beginning were stale and the salsa was eh. Nothing unique or interesting on the menu. The atmosphere inside was very sterile. It was clean and tidy but there was no ambiance. Just blah- wasn’t made to feel welcome, staff was NOT engaging at all. Service was lacking too. Not much followup with the wait staff and at the end, no check was presented. Was instructed to go to the counter to pay. All in all, place misses the mark. Not very impressed and will NOT go back. There are other places in the area that are better. Also, on street parking is the only available parking. At least that was free.

Absolutely delicious birria tacos. Even though it’s pretty far away for us, we will definitely be back. Service was decent and I was disappointed that they don’t have free chips and salsa, but everything was outstanding. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

What a great little place. Big portions for a reasonable price, and super delicious!!! If you're in the neighborhood you should go. If you're not, you should make a detour for here. WORTH THE TRIP.

While this restaurant also serves meat and dairy, the vegan options are amazing! The vegan burrito is super good and as is the guacamole. The restaurant is very cute, colorful and enjoyable.
