I did a deep dive in research before selecting a seafood restaurant after a pretty disastrous experience in Cabo San Lucas. We decided on El Chino and it did not disappoint. The service started with complimentary chips and salsa. I know a place will be good when they bring some great salsa to the table. They offered three different ones and all were delicious. The limonadas were also great. We decided to split a fried fish with shrimp and it was absolutely amazing. It was honestly the best fried fish I have ever had and it is one of my go to orders. Tonight will be our last night in San Jose and have decided to go back for our last dinner to try more of their amazing food. The staff was also extremely kind. This does not always happen in tourist places but they seem like very genuine people. I travel a lot of Mexico and Los Cabo’s will be a regular stop for me now. El Chino will be an every trip meal. We needed one last taste of cabo before heading to the airport and this place was perfecto! Quiet little upstairs dining off the beaten path. Staff friendly, service quick, food amazing. Arrived early, all staff hustled to setup and welcome us. Habo poco Español, but waiter helped us thru. They put on English music and quickly served up great tacos and cerveza’s. Best place to be…. The owners make you feel like you are at home. I speak English and Spanish but if you want to feel the atmosphere of Mexican food and Mexican energy you should come to Abbis best place in town….. Local neighborhood family owned restaurant, FRESH, not frozen seafood. We had ceviche special which was excellent, awesome seabass fish tacos and delicious seafood soup, chips and salsa on point, large portions and very reasonable prices. Service was attentive and fast. Our waiter, Saul, was very helpful, explained all the specials and what was fresh that day! Get flan if you have room. We got additional orders to go for breakfast! Will definitely be back.

We came here on a day trip from Cabo San Lucas with another couple. I had the Fried Shrimp plate and it was really good. My wife had the shrimp tostada and it was HUGE!! The fish tacos and shrimp soup was also really good. Adriana the owner, is really nice and accommodating. Would definitely come here again!!

What a gem! These guys will take incredible care of you while providing amazing food! We got the ceviche and a few tacos each and man was it fantastic! The food was perfectly flavored, wonderfully cooked, and in great portion sizes. They also have a great array of hot sauces for your pleasure, and can bring out hotter stuff if you ask. I highly recommend this perfectly priced, fantastic tasting, place for a relaxed dinner.

We went in for a “snack” before cooking dinner. Got the guacamole, ceviche de pescado and a couple of beers. The food was so good we ate every bite, couldn’t resist. Service was so friendly and great. All the photos of the food all the wall looked incredible. If it wasn’t our last night we’d be back again. But, we’ll have to wait for our next trip. Great atmosphere, the food was on point, just one block off the main road, one of the locals told us about it and glad we went. The shrimp and fish tacos just burst with flavors and the burritos where huge, I had the special which was shrimp and every bite had shrimp. The owner was awesome he felt like tequila so I was graced with a shot too, was not disappointed the 1800 was very smooth and they treated my daughters like family and its a family run restaurant. Thanks again for the wonderful food and service. Will be back. Well you go there once you'll be there twice, there's a sleepy little restaurant down south of the border... in san jose del cabo ...... what's more to say that Van Halen hasn't already said 😄 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
