I took my elderly parents there. My dad is 89, and the owner, Kently, was a phenomenal host. He was so good to them, very attentive. The food was very good. The alcappurria, bistec encebollado, and camarone monfongo so yummy.

Lovely place to be and to eat. The food is excelent you can noticie when it is made with love and home made. The stuffed chicken rolled in bacon wow.. The piña colada amazing. I stayed in Boqueron area for 4 days and I went 3 of 4th days. For lunch and dinner.
The place is managed by his owner he is a lovely friendly man, he treats you like family.

Mofongo Camarones Ajillo
Best restaurant in Boqueron, and definitely one of the best in PR! I've been coming here since I was a kid and decided to bring my wife and daughter during our latest trip to PR. That was one of the best decisions I made on this trip. The location is great (although Google Maps shows it 1 or 2 buildings north. This is a quaint small mom and pops restaurant, although the original owner died a few months ago. However her son is running the show now and nothing has changed. Her son (Kently) is simply amazing. He welcomed us with open arms despite of having shown up 5 minutes after closing time. His customer service is the best...period. Actually, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and it was fun to listen to the chef singing in the kitchen. You know the food will be great when the chef is having fun and is passionate about what he does.
The food...it was superb! The three of us had sorullitos (one of the best I've ever had), 2 red snappers, amarillos, rice and beans, and mofongo filled with churrasco. The fish was perfect; my daughter said the rice and beans was one of the best she has ever had (in front of her mother, LOL), and my wife said her mofongo was he best one she has ever had (and I confirmed that). Every plate in front of us was incredible.
The drinks were great and fun! You have to try their Mojito de Parcha (passion fruit). It was insane! Real fruit in all of their mojitos. My wife wanted to go back the next evening just to drink more mojitos, but we got back to the area too late.
If you are in the area, you need to come here and say hi to Kently. I will easily deviate one hour from my drive just to eat here.
If you’re ever in Boqueron you must stop here. Staff is SUPER friendly and the food was delicious. Appetizers were delish and a great way to start the meal experience to the point we stuffed ourselves silly and we topped it off with an Über delicious homemade cream cheese flan made by the owner’s wife. We had 4 appetizers, 3 quality entrees, 6 cocktails and a beer for a grand total of $106. Will come back 10/10.
Service and food at El Liken were fantastic. We stopped in for lunch and were greeted by the customers at the bar in front as well as the staff. They have a great covered seating area to sit and eat. Bathrooms are available for customers. Our servers were very kind and friendly. Ordering was English friendly which enabled us to ask a few extra questions about items on the menu.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boqueron.

Red Snapper Chillo Del Patio
I loved it. The carrucho was fresh and it wasn't chewy. I had to order the chicken without salt cause of some personal health issues and I thought it was going to be bland but it had so much flavor. Everything was cooked on the spot. The owner was so friendly and humble as well. Would totally recommend.
