Great food and great service. The pastelitos were our favorite (we got them Cuban-style, recommended by our kayak tour guide!), but everything was amazing. Would heartily recommend.

Good food and drinks with very friendly people and great service. On a Thursday night at 10pm, this was about the only option in the area to get food, and we had a great time. It's also very convenient after a kayak tour of the lagoon, which we took advantage of the following night.

Good prices for all the food and drinks. Drank so many Medallas. Worth it. Great hostess and employees. Very friendly. Good crowd. There were a good mixture of tourists and locals. Wish I had taken pics of the food but it look too good to even have time to take some

Absolutely amazing! We went here after a Bio Bay tour with Eco Adventures for a quick drink and were blown away! We got a couple drinks, nachos supreme, and mozzarella sticks. The nachos were amazing (more meat than chips and accommodated for gluten free!) and the drinks strong! Ended up staying for a couple more drinks. 100% recommend and Amber was amazing!!!

Best place to eat while being at the BioBay area... everything's fresh made. Definitely love the flavor of the octopus pastelillo!

We spent two hours looking for the elusive bioiluminiscent effect by the water (that's another story) and when heading back to our hotel, we stopped by El Nativo. What a great little place! They have the best guava mojitos we've ever had in our lives. The owner was so nice and polite. The mofongo balls and piononos were amazing and the empanadillas (turnovers) were incredibly good! Our kids loved it there, which is not an easy feat. We'll go back tonight!

My boyfriend and I came just to sit and have drinks. I ordered a moscow mule, which i love and drink frequently. When I got the drink we could both tell just by looking at it that it wasn’t right, and when we took a sip it still didn’t taste right. It was clearly made with ginger ale, not ginger beer.
I’m not too upset about the drink being wrong, but when my boyfriend told them I didn’t like it and politely asked them to fix it, the bartenders were so rude to him! They walked away while he was talking and told him “tough luck”.
Both I and my boyfriend have worked in restaurants, and we have been taught this is no way to talk to your guests. I respect that they don’t fix drinks, but their attitude made us feel a bit uncomfortable and made us want to leave.

Fresh food made on the spot for you! I'm a local that comes occasionally to the BioBay area... I really appreciate hot and tasty food and El Nativo really delivered.
