Love going through the drive-thru because dining-in is kind of questionable. The tables were not clean, I had to ask for someone to clean, which I got attitude for. They don't have napkins or anything out like salsa etc. not plates... just not the best experience for me with a 3 yr old. Oh and you can only use EBT dining-in which sucks!! Here, we have a cool little restaurant that serves chicken cooked on the grill. When you walk on, you notice the smell of grilled chicken, and as you look around, you also notice a whole lot of chicken getting cooked on the grill in the chicken. There is a lot of turnout on the food here, so you know you get fresh chicken when you order. They have hot sauce and tortillas. It's a good spot for some grilled chicken. Today when I went to El Pollo Loco I did not have the best experience. The only thing I ordered was chips and guac and it took them half an hour to get it done because they were serving people who came after me though what I ordered was a simple thing they could have gotten earlier. They did not have their priorities straight today. Seems like you couldn't be served right unless you were a police officer or complaining (both actual occurrences). They're also low staffed. There were about 20 people in the restaurant but one cashier. My two star rating is honestly nice. I wouldn't recommend coming here until they get their stuff together. Hard to go wrong with fresh grilled chicken! Update March 6,2024. I think tonight's chicken was the best I've ever had there: perfectly seasoned, nice grill on the chicken and this happened in a super busy night! The team was spot on with the cooking, the plates were amble and not missing anything, and I got all that I asked for with very friendly and attentive service. This place is a new one for me. My wife took me here to try the taco bowl I think it's called or taco salad. I don't recall, but that thing was great. It has beans,rice, chicken,lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, maybe I'm forgetting something.
