A must go Mexican restaurant! The service was good, the food was fantastic, what more can you need? The portions were HUGE! You will definitely be needing a to-go box. There is also a military discount (10%) which is great that they support the troops. We got the California burrito and the combo meal. Each one was super flavorful and delicious. House Special (steak, peppers, tomatoes, & onions served w a side of beans, rice, and tortillas) is my go-to. The steak is always perfectly seasoned and tender. No gristle or fat. I really l8ke their soft corn tortillas. I know that they aren't homemade, but they are very good. Churros are good, too. Just make sure to ask for the chocolate sauce. They sometimes forget it. The chips aren't consistently good. Quite often over cooked. The salsa served with them is delicious. I usually end up drenching my entire meal with it. Can't really say for the rest of the menu. We are glad we chose to go back to El Saltillo Mexican restaurant. We were tired of the same flavors everywhere we went. It’s surprising flavorful , I had shrimp Berrito my husband had chili relleno and D plate. The wait staff is friendly and the dining room is clean. Thank you El Saltillo till next time.
