Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside, but inside is very clean. The server and owner, cook are all very kind and hospitable. Mostly Spanish speaking but communication seems to be no problem. The tacos Mexicanas are out of this world good! Chips and salsa also are really good. You won't be disappointed! They had me with the tea in the big a** mason jar. We're always looking for new places to eat and stumbled upon this hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. The birria tacos were pretty good. My wife had street tacos that she said were pretty good as well. This is by far one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants on the coast in my opinion. They could definitely compete on a bigger level with any of the name brand restaurant here. Jalapeños, El Rancho, El Saltillos etc. We'll definitely be back. The food is a lot for the price, which is always great. But it wasn’t very flavorful. I also ordered a slice of tres leches cake and it was just a vanilla cake they bought from like Walmart and it was nasty… so kinda disappointed because it cost almost $6, and I didn’t eat it. Also our waitress didn’t check on us at all until the end, she was nice though. Orders 9.99$ Nacho de Asada. There was almost no cheese on it very dry! Had to order cheese dip to because it was so dry! They literally brought out water flavored cheese dip! The cheese dip looked like white water, showed it to waitress she said I know and took it off bill. She also charged me an extra dollar for what I have no idea. Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of this place! Once you step inside it is very nice and the atmosphere is great! I had the beef tacos, which turned out to be steak on what appeared to be homemade soft taco shells! Definitely worth another visit. The portions you get for the price are awesome. I got a taco Salad that was well-sized and a delicious horchata drink. The taco salad wasn't that tasty but the side of rice and beans was great. I would also recommend getting fried oreos if you have never tried some before. The server was very welcoming and did her best for the large group I was with.
