You'll love this store. It has that small country store atmosphere. But has what you need for food, and gasoline (usually cheaper than others) to get you fed and back on the road.

My wife got the 4 piece chicken with fries and we have never, ever seen such small chicken pieces in our lives. The wing and leg looked like it came off of a quail. The breast was way smaller than any thigh I have ever seen. Then on top of that, it was overcooked. Almost burnt. We were regular customers, but not any more.

I used to like coming there but quite frankly I don't anymore. Abbs employees have the personality of a brick. The food is sub par at best. The prices he charges you'd think he actually provides his employees with health insurance. The Look and Morris family seem to have quite the monopoly between Columbia and Columbia Falls and it shows.
It's hard to rate the atmosphere of a convenience store. The food, I am sad to say, is sorely lacking. So far I've had the haddock burger and the pizza, but I could definitely find better elsewhere. But the service is spectacular and they had my order ready on time. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.

Can be hot or miss. Most of the females working there are friendly. The day guy I think his name is Wayne maybe, but don't quote me, is an asshat. Worst customer service, in a business where all your really have to do is ring people up... If he can't do that, maybe just have him empty garbage cans or something simple, but not working with the public. Very limited selection of liquor, it would make more sense for them to give it up so 4 corners could do a better job, but they're too greedy. Pizza slice good one day, gross as can be the next. Only truly good thing I can say about the place is they carry top tier fuel. If you have enough fuel, I suggest you drive on.
I have Never met such rude staff! This place is not only rude but they like to insult you too! Then you make a complaint and the owner comes after you with straight rude msg. If you look through this man’s reviews most are bad most are negative besides the trucker that likes his free parking to rest. It is in my opinion this owner is the kind of man that gives his dog 4oz of food a day don’t allow his wife to talk unless spoken to and has his kids play with sticks as toys and if you get out of line let me tell you!! Just a bad place if everyone calls shell and asks why they are letting this guy drag down there name maybe it will help them treat customers right with some respect I see I’m not the only one. Never Again
This place is so handy. We were on UTV and the trail takes you to this oasis. We got hot chicken and honey biscuits (nom nom)along with some drinks and a full tank of gas.
There is one little table to sit and eat that we used.

After 10 years of shopping at Elmer's Country Store (known as Abb's to us locals) we are done. Ordered a pizza on Saturday night, staff gave us the wrong order. We got a call when we got it home asking us to bring back the wrong pizza. No problem, mistakes happen. Upon returning with it, we were told that we would need to pay for the wrong pizza they sent us out with in order to get the pizza we ordered, as it counted as a loss in their profits. While in line at the cashier's, the kitchen manager came out and accused us of trying to steal the pizza (as we were standing in line waiting to pay for both pizzas). Upon reaching Abb during the week he stood by their policy of making customers pay for the store's mistakes.
Obviously, we will not be buying our takeout, gas, beverages, snacks or emergency groceries from Abb's anymore, so another "loss in their profits". Forget you, no one needs pizza with a side of public humiliation Abb!

Seems as though they have gotten stingy. Portions seem to be getting smaller. And the food seems to be getting worse. The fries are miserable and soggy. Pizza has more grease than napa could ever have. The slowest gas pumps I've used in my life. Half of the employees are rotten and shouldn't be in the food/service industry. If it wasn't the only place local to get take out I wouldn't eat there.
