Best place to have your roti canai...
Hidden in a rather quaint area of Bintulu among many other eateries, it is not very eye catching at first sight. However, it is one of the rare Indian eateries that I could find in Bintulu. I could sense the difference in the spices (spotted them using Baba's spices haha), the presence of masala thosai in the menu (not common if it wasn't really a roti canai shop owned by an Indian owner) and voila! The owner really hails from India! Nothing absolutely extraordinary here, but if you're looking for your daily-go-to roti canai stall with the authentic Indian spice taste, this is it. They serve nasi briyani too but I've yet to try them. Service Dine in

Best mee jawa special in my opinion.
Roti canai kosong for RM 1.00!!. Clean, efficient staff, provides tissue on each table. Delicious Tosai. Briyani with mutton and chicken , value for money. Good teh tarik, milo and other beverages. Suitable for family with kids. It is HALAL , runs by Mamak muslim owner who is friendly and treat customer very well, akways alert on customers's order.
Four star is due to the small place. The restaurant is intermediate between other businessess. Usually people often this place just to eat their famous varieties of indian chennai bread. Roti in malay. Roti jantan, roti tampal, roti telur, roti bawang and many others. Their biryani is one of the best in bintulu either you choose chicken or beef or mutton. Their signature dish here is the mutton curry. The gravy is thick with flavourful spices bombarded every centimetres of your tongue. The mutton is extremely soft, sign of pressure cooking them prior to curry them up. The owner is really fluent in english and local Sarawak malay. His workers are a group of the most attentives personnel in this business here in Bintulu. You will never find them looking away or leave the table unwaited. All of them are friendly. It is seems like hospitality is their restaurant motto because whenever you sit yourselves here, it almost feels like home. Beware of having to queue up if you intend to come at 6-8:30a.m because their regulars will always be there during that time. Hope you can satisfy your Indian cuisine craving when you are here. I did and always will. Thank you for reading
